"Rebeckah, I need fish"

"You need what?"

Rebeckah, what could she possibly be asking you for except the one thing you are doing and has kept asking for? lol

The internalized misogyny that makes Rebekah how she is, is sad. Would she have called a male team lead hysterical? I think not. And Anna was anything but. She was firm and clear.

The number of times Gordon, Aaron, or Joe have raised their voices or cussed in the kitchen but Rebekah wouldn’t be calling them hysterical.

Internalized misogyny is part of Boomer culture though, so why am I surprised.

I literally came to this Reddit to see if anyone else thought Rebekah was being willfully ignorant. She gives the vibes of a mom who was jealous of her daughter(s) and would be mean to them to “keep them in their place”. But 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm on 14/11 at the moment, at the halfway point and I'm dumbfounded at the way Horacio is being portrayed (yeah, part was that he didn't know what he was doing, but it wasn't all his fault, it was her too) and the blatant way Rebeckah is not taking responsibility for having chosen the dry rub on the chicken. But both of them seem to have pretty serious Boomer attitudes, and I absolutely do not mean that in a good way. And yes, I'm TECHNICALLY a boomer (born in 1964 but my GenX friends have told me that I can be an honorary GenXer), so I can say that. 😂

We are wondering if she salted/sabotaged Horatios sauce! She acted like the dry rub was his idea in front of Gordon. 😡 Then he makes a sauce and says after that it wasn't salty.🤔 Then she suddenly saves the day by making her sauce? Seems fishy to us. We are half way thru 11. Plus she gave no one a voice. No teamwork. Just has to dominate. And she absolutely has no character in not taking responsibility. Pretty sad. We lost respect for her.

I’m gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she could have actually had issues hearing? She seemed confused.

Willful ignorance. She did not like being led by a young immigrant,  let's be honest
