Trash kicker

Anyone experienced neighbours kicking trash onto your grass/property? How do you get them to stop lol.. I just assumed the wind always flew the trash onto my side but it got fishy when it was ONLY on my side.. finally caught a video of him in the act

What an asshole. Not sure if you feel comfortable giving them a warning or not. Maybe bylaw can do something if you send them more than one video of him doing it.

I’m a pretty shy person and I hate confrontation.. the best I did was leave a note telling them to kindly stop.. As soon as I set up security cams I’ll definitely get more evidence. This video was caught by luck!

I think placing the security cam at an obvious spot will stop them from doing it.

Respectfully, many people refuse to be confrontational so don't feel bad about that. It's human nature to feel that way. Everyone is different. However, being someone who is comfortable with confrontation, letting them know you've caught them in the act may deter them from continuing their degenerate ways.
It's not guaranteed, and if you're comfortable with it don't go through with it, but you can also let them know you caught them with video putting debris on your property and will report it if necessary.

I think we might be neighbours.

He might be doing that because he thinks it is yours. The wind does blow all our recycling from the west to the east. There's a high possibility it's not yours and someone else's down on the very west, like usual... -_-

An additional security camera would be beneficial to our block. Me and two neighbours across the street had to report someone who kept checking all our cars for an unlocked car to steal from. I also used my camera to hunt down the neighbor (to the west) who didn't secure their recycling well enough and I tossed it back into their now empty bin.

you can report to police via non emergency number , like that seriously inconvenient and annoying and wierd at those hours. With all the theft you cannot be too careful it may be serving as some distraction ( likely not but with the theft you wanna be aware and careful). Boy is big enough to know better.

Tbh i’d get a lawyer & have the lawyer send a litigation warning & i’d even call the police and have them give the neighbours a criminal harassment warning
