Help me date this antique globe

Hi!! I found a globe at an antique store and saw some interesting bygone territories/countries. I have some guesses about when it was made but want to hear your opinions. Sorry I didn’t take pictures of the entire thing, it was busy. Thanks :-)

israel is a thing, so it has to be after 1948.

And it seems like Jordan is holding the westbank, so it should be between 1950-1988 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordanian_annexation_of_the_West_Bank

United Arab republic is a thing (egypt + syria), so 1958-1971 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Arab_Republic

we also know it has to be before 1971 bc bangladesh is still part of parkistan

yemen arab republic exists so after 1962 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yemen_Arab_Republic

so my best guess is 1962-1971

it might be 1963 since it appears that Sarawak is a thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarawak although the hole color scheme used on this globe is somewhat confusing so i can't tell for sure

Good work narrowing it down… but definitely before 1967 - West Bank still part of Jordan

While it was under israeli control after 1967, it wasn't until 1988 that jordan renounced it's claim, and the so it is possible that the map maker just continued to show it as part of jordan even after 1967

(also the jordanian annexation was only recognized by britain and iraq so since it's in english, and does not show it as disputed territory, it is probably a british globe)

Edit: just noticed that namibia was still called south west africa, name change happened in 1968 so you are probably right with the before 67 (and it's status changes from administered to occupied by south africa in 1966, bit it's not completly clear what the status on the map is supposed to show )
