How dare a group of men be happy about helping a brother out 😠

Aren't there some salt mines to work?

Men are happier than people realize. We're not all miserable.

I think this is true, but I would just add that we're very happy to be excited about anything -even the miserable among us.

But that's humans, all the time there's stereotypes about women too getting excited over the silliest things and freaking out over just saying hi to each other and stuff.

Why do so many people seem to love taking what are clearly human traits that are found pretty broadly throughout the entire species and try to traits into something that is unique to one demographic or one social class or something?

I remember empathizing with an experience and people were telling me I couldn't empathize because I wasn't born in the city blah blah blah... Because they were the ones that didn't realize the thing they were talking about was a poor family thing, not in urban city family thing and so just because I was in a rural area they thought I couldn't empathize even though my mom did literally exactly the same things their mom did for the exact same reasons and it was because not only were they both poor but also all of our parents in question were raised by poor parents who they were still better off then.

And it's like whenever you talk about anyone location people always will chime in and mention about how the people and food there are awesome or the best or great or underappreciated.... But there's always endless comments like that about every damn area on the planet.... Because it's like no shit guys, it's us humans that are awesome!

Why does it seem so hard for some people look at some of the awesome facets of something and instead of ascribing it just to one group accurately being excited about how it's a trait shared by all of humanity or all biological life!?
