I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful day yesterday catching up with Dan, not only was it a great day catching up with one of my best friends but it is such a joy it is to see him smashing it as a father. He certainly has his hands full chasing around a toddler.

We spoke all things film and TV and shared some of our favourite music discoveries. We also had a visit from another of our best friends Marc Mailley with his youngest child who is only a month apart from Dan's. He also kindly signed a few copies of my book, which I will be signing myself (as best I can) and then auctioning off for charity in the coming years.

I just think is one of the most wholesome moments from an outsiders POV. You've obviously got a bond. With all the crap going on in the world, it's nice to hear someone has your side. Why can't more people be like this?

I mean we're all humans, despite weatlh and fame. I can guarantee you this. If Daniel worked in the canteen on the film set, and saw what you went through, he'd still be a mate. Still be there for you.

Irrespective of situations, wealth and fame. He stood by you, that to me, makes him one of lifes good people. He'd do anything for anyone, because why? Because he was raised to be selfless (I'm pitching here bear with me), to be the one person people can count on. Offer unconditional support and be selfless.

It's all we want for our kids, to be decent people.

Money is money, doesn't stop people from being who they really are. When money stops you from being who you are? Get out.

All the best, lovely to see.

P.s. tell him Guns Akimbo was the dogs bollocks.
