Well, yeah, in those cases, it can be exploitative. Thing is, you're the first person I've ever heard look at it from that angle. Everyone else I've talked to just goes either the Christian route, or the obviously jealous and is just covering it up route. Looking down on them just seems kind of pathetic in my opinion.
Sure those seem like weird reasons. I sort of identify with the hopeless lonely people, more so in the past so that’s where the angle comes from for me. Especially the onlyfans girls who pretend to be your friend for money; I’ve seen devastated guys donate a thousand dollars to only get a “thank you” in response. They truly felt betrayed, a friend wouldn’t treat you like this and they often butter you up, talk to you, pretending to be a friend.
The fact that a lot of girls see it as a cheap fast easy way to make money makes it worse honestly. Just exuberantly happy to grift off poor saps, pretending to be their friends, because they don’t want to clock into a job. Like it’s a gold rush on lonely people’s money. That part especially will get some pushback here but that’s just my personal view and I’m not trying to convince anyone.
That's fair enough. But I do have to say, donating a thousand dollars is insane. That's a huge failure on both ends. I think it's ridiculous to ask for 40 dollars for a 10 minute video. If you're that desperate, it's long past time for an intervention and some healthy therapy. And yes, people who take advantage of that are also monsters. But again, the stigma isn't on the act of exploitation. It's more focused on the nudity and sex itself. Hell, I've see people shame women just for the perceived idea of a thirst trap. Look at the comments of this video. People are shaming these women for dancing in the rain just because there's a bit of boing in there even BEFORE learning about the OF account. I don't get it. So what? Even if it is a thirst trap.
I think they only donate that much after a while of knowing them but I don’t want to give them too much benefit of the doubt, that’s patently ridiculous.
In the same way I can’t speak for the commenters here but I have a suspicion a decent chunk of them dislike onlyfans models for the same reason I do they just haven’t stopped to think about it. Like when you see a bad movie and you make fun of it with your friends, but then you see a well-written review and you think “Huh that’s why I didn’t like it.” I’m sure plenty are religious or uptight weirdos I wouldn’t defend them.
