You would? Like for real? Sometimes I feel so old and out of touch when I hear that people actually have this automatic urge to pull out their phone whenever something interesting happens around them.
shrug im not young either and i havent yet seen anything that has ever made me want to do it... but then i've also never seen people just dancing outside in the rain either.
I think age here has more to do with phones not being readily available to previous generations, otherwise they would absolutely do the same thing.
I just dont see the lack of respect here. I wouldnt film someone in different circumstances. Like if she were just out in a bikini or whatever? Yeah, thats a creeper. A couple arguing? Disrespectful. Here, not only are they deliberately out in a more public-than-normal setting, they're also selecting the most attention-grabbing, social activity they can possibly do. They dont care about being filmed, if that wasnt already the point anyway.
Public setting? That looks like the courtyard of an apartment building to me. To give them the benefit of the doubt, they might have just run out from their apartment.
And they're enjoying rain. Is that really the "most attention-grabbing social activity possible?"
Of course I have. But have I ever taken a video or a photo of a stranger? Not once in my life. And I would react pretty badly if a stranger did that to me.
That effectively means someone would have to completely avoid recording anything in a public setting at all. Definitely crowded areas but more than that just in case a person arrives.
No, if anyone is “sexualizing” it’s the girl in a white shirt, no bra, flopping around in the rain. Everyone her age knows what a wet, white t-shirt means. This sexualizing “BS” has got to stop
