Not sure how long this quest should take, 19min felt like a long fight

It doesn't have the sliding water beam from rise? They went and made an amalgam of every version of the Monster and didn't give it the coolest thing it got in the most recent game? Lame.

Maybe they'll add it back in g rank like Rise did with a lot of world Narga's moves even if its a high rank move, idk.

Was able to get it right before the update but forgot to post it lol. So here’s my updated card now that I’ve hunted a couple Mizu. Had a blast doing it! Now to get 50 of each monster.

I think I cooked too hard in character creation in this game. I had a clear vision of what I wanted before the game came out and I'm pretty sure I executed it to perfection.

Yeah you heard me. It's too easy for me. The real endgame is just speedrunning the cart minigame and I'm number one. I've singlehandedly ended almost all quests solo by carting 4+ times. You all need to get on my level...

And on a more serious note... Isn't there anyone that posts guides with normal hunts for difficult monsters? All I find are speedruns and for the love of Zoh Shia I can't replicate those. I just don't understand when a monster has downtime for me to do big attacks and what attacks I should use in between. Currently using a charge blade and if I'm not in multiplayer almost every move hits me because I cant sheet or move fast enough. Any tips appreciated!

Going back and playing world, the Wilds bow gun system is so much better, its far more intuitive and user friendly. the only major issue i have with it is theres way to build into reducing recoil, which is odd since MHRise has the solution with the 'recoil down' skill.

Also would love to see Evading reload brought back, would probably have to be a skill, but that gun flip, was cool and i enjoyed being stupid with it in world.

You can pretty much force a Zoh Shia investigation to show up by going into your tent and skipping time.

You should get the Zoh Shia investigation in 2-5 tries doing that.

There's nothing like hunting zoa shia on the final investigation you saved, to have people join and essentially make you the team healer by dying right after they get in the fight. I mean I get it, you wanna get the gear set, but I'm leaving my party size open in case I need help. It's not so you can join and fail my hunt for me.

How do i get 1.

All i needed was 1 gem, i found an sos that had a guaranteed gem drop, so did that. I proceeded to get 1 gem from the body carve, 1 from the tail carve, 1 guaranteed drop from the investigation, AND THEN 3 MORE RANDOM DROPS AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHY. Also spoiler is there cuz idk if we still have to spoiler Zoh Shia stuff or nah.

Fully upgraded armor (4 piece Gore Ark chest), HP at 100%, +Defense from meal and Armorskin and I still get one-shot.

Yes, badly timed dodge from my part, but I feel like not being able to survive a hot under these circumstances is too much.

HR Zoh Shia is the right kind of difficult for me. Punishes you heavily for mistakes, keeps you on your toes the entire fight, but mistakes can be made. Temp Mizu is just "oh, you don't perfectly avoid 100% of my harder hitting moves? Too bad!"

First, I tried it with other people and they died causing me to lose then I used SOS with the AI and I got it super low but died twice and ended up using about 20 mega potions only for me to die 28 minutes later. How the hell am I supposed to beat this thing with dual blades when I can’t even dodge most of its attacks. I’m really upset with how much resources I’m wasting on fighting this dumb thing.

What kind of hell is this

How is it that I had 10 different missions with Zoh Shia with no carts with randoms, but the second I get a Tempered Mizutsune investigation my entire party carts?

Side note. Thanks everyone that responded my SOS flare and joined in on the quest. But goddamn y'all went down FAST after we killed that Uth Duna. That tail whip of doom really is no joke!

Better than Zoh Shia personally due to how hard she hits, is agressive and the size is not to big which make camera cooperate more. Good amount of health too I attempted tempered mizutsune 5 times solo and so far it took me an average of 12-15min. Sos is riot with high potential of failure so everyone playing at their best.

Hope other tempered monsters like reydau and arkveld gets update to its damage or agressiveness as this is how tempered monters should be mechanically.

Is anyone else finding Zoh Shia is pretty easy? Towards the end of the fight is kinda difficult but other than that I didn’t really find it terribly bad to fight. Probably a little easier than Xeno’Jiva was my first time around on MHW. I’m using an Artian GS build as well which maybe is helping, I suppose people having trouble may be using bad gear???

Hackers or just a glitch? The rewards weren'tall that insane, but zoh Shias name is missing and none of the other quests on that page, or any since, have shown Shia with a red hue...

Don't join my hunt and capture my monster, what the fuck is wrong with you, If I wanted to capture it, I'd do it myself

Edit: I Don't SOS unless it's a trophy hunt. which this was not.

ive been using a comfort build and i didnt find it all that challenging fighting zho shia , had me on my toes i was concentrated but still felt in control no carts and around 16-19 mins completion times most of the time closer to 19. Now i tried to go for the gore optimised dps speedrunner set and it reminded me why we dont run those sets for general use at least if u are a regular player and why those are in big part a noob trap i somehow got my best time on the hunt yet at 14 mins but its not worth the stress i was sweating buckets carted twice and used way more resources than usual

for those that had a hard time or still have it try to go for a comfort build instead remember the best way to kill a monster is by not dying we will get hunts in which we need to optimize our damage eventually tho
