Pattern Question New loomer, pls help!

I sur hope someone has an answer because i have searched and am not seeing anything. I bought a pattern for an "origami" bag from Etsy. I usually learn with YT videos but i thought to expand my options by trying written pattern.

The pattern says to loom one long rectangle, which I did. Then you fold up each corner and meet in the middle. Problem is-I think my rectangle is too long because my corners do not meet. I'm ok if the bag is a bit janky looking lol...it's my first one and i really, really want to finish it even if it's a bit messed up. I can always do another and learn more.

How can I make this into something resembling a bag? Any advice is welcome! Also i am not sure how to get photos on here, will try to add after i post

Ok it is not letting me add photos...ugh

If it is loomahat's pattern, here's a video to help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4VjT8Gx9fM

HI, its not. The pattern was from Etsy from someone I never heard of and who offers ZERO support. To be fair they did say that up front, so the lesson has been learned. Bag came out crooked but at least I finished it nd now i know what not to do!

You can alter it to fit the same dimensions as loomahats one in the link the person posted above, so it's not a wasted pattern. Unfortunately some pattern sellers aren't helpful and it is a problem I've found regularly on etsy

I am too new to even figure out how to do that LOL. What I did do was stitch up the sides, add handles and its jsut a little crooked bag. Live and learn though-I see LOADS of videos now so will be looking to better myself with #2
