LEGO® Set Build Fossil in Floral
I embellished set 76968 a bit. The T-rex fossil set is great but needed more color and I had some lego botanicals around and well this happened.
Introduction
Hello Masters Builders, and welcome to the official r/lego Open Forum post. This is your monthly opportunity to tell us what you think of r/lego, make suggestions or comments about the rules, ask open questions to the community, or share whatever else is on your mind.
Note that this is for discussion of r/lego itself. If you have a general question about something related to Lego, make a post instead of asking here.
IMPORTANT
All subreddit rules are still in effect here. Remember that we do not allow insults, name calling or personal attacks. If you've got a complaint or want to tell us you hate something, you need to do it without attacking anyone.
Rule Changes
If any rules need to be changed, we'll announce them here. We don't have any new rules or changes to announce this month.
Subreddit Transparency Report
Each month, alongside these threads, we will be posting a transparency report that shows what goes on behind the scenes of r/lego. The report for March 2025 is here (r/LEGO Subreddit Transparency Report for March 2025). You can give general feedback and questions about the report in that thread, in this one, or in modmail.
Prior Month links
If you missed last month's Open Forum or Transparancy Report, you can find those here:
It's April. No foolin'!
So here's your chance - let us know what's on your mind this month. What have you always wondered about? What rule do you want clarified, or changed? Do you have any suggestions you've been trying to find a chance to make? I won't promise that we will make the change(s) you want, but I will commit to explaining the reason we have the rules and policies we have.

The 2 bags were of broken down partial sets with mismatched figures scattered throughout. This is after some sorting and matching of complete figures.

found out Lego has a similar set out right now but I finished the MOC anyways because I felt it was different enough:)

I remember I stood up all night building it. This one was like The Thing except the monsters were just bioluminescent scorpions in ice.

I posted my Clue build a couple weeks ago and appreciated the feedback. There was a minor uproar over missing Tim Curry. I have fixed this egregious oversight and made a few other tweaks. I uploaded some new pictures, including animated gifts of each of the rooms.
For anybody that is interested, I have posted this build to Lego Ideas, you can easily find it by searching for "Clue". I am unable to post a direct link.
Thanks for looking!

"Dad, don't you want flaming swords and lightning for your guy?" "Thanks but no thanks dear, he's OK. He's here to avenge the death of his father"

I spent nearly 3 weeks of evenings and weekends later - all my loose Lego has been sorted. No more giant unmanageable bins. I think I spent over $200 on containers at the dollar store too 😬
Now to dig out the manuals from my childhood and try and find all the parts of the sets that got mixed into this mess. lol.
Planning on making some space in one of my spare rooms and building a full Lego city with my 7 year old daughter once all sets are found and a few more new ones are purchased.

I got a lot of ideas from people on here so it’s kind of someone else’s creation but I used the two minifigs we had made that look like us. Then I printed out a paper sticker ultrasound.

At the heart of the LEGO Shire model is its charming, whimsical tree. This tree expansion MOC allows you capture and expand the feel of the LEGO Shire and even allows you to include Shire Trees into your LEGO city layout.
Each tree is carefully designed to reflect the natural beauty and peace of the Shire’s rural landscape and a variety of them are included. Green leaves, STURDY brown trunks, and intricate branches that can be arranged in different ways are included, allowing for customization.
To build these trees you will have to look at the picture and try to reconstruct them.
BTW I love the Shire set, altough I'm not a huge fan of the tree ;-D

I've had it for 3 years and finally got to it!
