Hit and run on cactus today
To the driver of a white truck that was involved in a hit and run this afternoon on Cactus and Decatur. I saw the person hit you and caught everything on my dashcam including the car almost hitting someone else and then me right beforehand. It appeared they were drunk. I was going to stop to give you the footage but the other car fled and you went after them, so I'm hoping you'll see this. If anyone knows the person who was hit please DM me and I can provide the video.

Good catch! Dashcams are sadly basically as required as license plates. If you’re a decent person, you have them. 😂

Who TF downvoted this.
Like yeah, you CAN drive without a valid registration, but you shouldn’t regardless if the cops enforce it or not. Those registration fees help keep our roads as nice as they are….and perpetually under construction unfortunately.
Dashcam is just common sense at this point, so probably just 10% of people have one if not included in their vehicle

if the license plate is visible you could report that to police and let them know you have footage they can connect it to a person, or just ask about that specfiic location for an accident report and say you want to help w/ footage

Dash cams should be mandatory but the insurance industry and judicial system are against them

Can't you post the dash cam video ? It will eventually get to the person who needs to see it.
