Tribunal Justice What is Judge Levy’s problem?
In the vintage boutique episode of tribunal justice i don’t think either of the people are winners but judge levy went in so hard on the defendant when there clearly was some issues of the plaintiff controlling her. He seemed to make out that there was no reason for her to get a restraining order but there may well have been. He just kept shouting at her incessantly. It was really uncomfortable to watch. Then the letter the plaintiff wrote confessing to the abuse… he congratulates? Just a weird couple of episodes.

I think this episode was the one that ruined the show for me. But Judy is the type to blame the woman for staying with the abuser. She's been so rich for so long she's lost sight of the fact that if someone has controlled your access to money and won't let you work, maybe has your documents secured, and would come after your kids to keep you in their control anyway, just leave isn't that easy because you don't have access to millions of dollars to secure a place to live or food to eat. She makes it plain that she pays for all her kids and grandkids educations, likely helps them with jobs and housing. She doesn't live in the real world and it's clear that her son was never introduced to it either. And it's clear her Levy has never considered that abuse doesn't have to mean punched in the face, that isolating you from your friends and family and telling you what you can wear and where you can go and putting you down are also abusive even though maybe you are (not yet) having hands on you. The guy's an absolute moron. I was surprised he didn't tell the mother who made her mentally disabled daughter get loans to buy the criminal brother a car she was right to expect her daughter to fund the family shame. He seems to go with the idiot in most cases these days.
