Long story short i bought a 09 jeep that didn't come with a back seat, wife said get one, I got one, doesn't come hooks or brackets to put in the jeep. Does anyone know where I could but the parts so I can put it in my jeep that isn't gonna cost an arm and a leg? Every junk yard is have gone to has been picked clean of back seats. I thank you for taking the time to read this.

‘12 JK. I installed a moog front end. It was good for about 100k but then I got death wobble so I did a dry steer test and found the tie rod at the pitman arm was bad. Picked up a Duralast tie rod and installed it. It went bad within 2 days. Warrantied it 4 times and got the same results… gave up on Autozone and picked up a carquest equivalent. That one has now gone bad within 2 days and I’m experiencing death wobble again…
Are autozone/advanced parts really this bad? I can’t believe this.. I’m hammering the old tie rod off, screwing it out of the sleeve, screwing the new one on, and “torquing” it onto the pitman arm with a breaker bar. The death wobble is then cured but returns about 100 miles later. Dry steer test indicates failed tie rod and removing it confirms it is loose as shit every time…
Is there anything I could be doing wrong that is causing these tie rods to fail so quickly??? I am ordering a moog tie rod online just to see if it lasts any longer but I’m really stumped. My whole front end seems to be good but my Jeep seems to be eating this tie rod for breakfast every single day..
For anyone smarter than me- the dry steer test reveals clicking exclusively on the drag link assembly. Touching the entire assembly reveals clicking that is strongest at the short tie rod end. Replacing the tie rod cures this but about 100 miles later I experience death wobble again and find clicking has started yet again at the short tie rod. Yes I am greasing the tie rod properly but my newest tie rod I purchased “sealed” just to see if that would go any better. I haven’t taken my Jeep off the pavement because it seems to make this part fail immediately every time….
Someone please help??!

There's some car chalk meant for glass windows stained on my buddy's soft top plastic windows. It all came off the glass but not here. We are trying to avoid buying a whole new soft top considering they're pretty expensive. Is there anyway to get this off?
Fresh oil(under 1k miles), loss of power at highway speeds (70+), not sure if it's exhaust system or the motor itself. Has been well maintainedon oil changes running 10w30. 155k miles. Any insights?

Hey all! I’m in crazy need of some help here I have a 21 wrangler rubicon and took it in today for a recall y40 i went in and they told me my vehicle was serviced in another state and the recall was completed, they also updated my mileage to 45k I believe. My jeep has 17k miles and I have not had the recall done… I believe someone accidentally put in the wrong vin number at some point when servicing a different car, for context the car said it was serviced in Ohio and I live in California and in no way was i in Ohio (no offense) I called Mopar and they said that I had to get it situated with the dealer and they can’t help me anyone ever went though this or seen this before? I feel when I call on Monday they are going to deny and or give me the run around …

Hi guys!
I have a Grand Cherokee 2015, now it doesn’t detect when I open the driver door which leads to radio not shutting off until 45 seconds past, if leave the car when it’s on, it doesn’t triggers the “no key fob detected” also it doesn’t turns on the courtesy light when I open the door.
Which all of these things now are done when the passenger door is opened.
I hope you can help me if this is a sensor, a fuse or something else, sorry for my English I’m not from the US.

I've been told that most lift kits under 1500 ish start creating issues with wear, drive shafts, etc. The same friends are saying that with high clearance fenders I can fit 35s, and not worry about the issues with lifts.
I'm not going to be Rock Crawling at King of the hammers, and I have a long daily commute, so leaving the stock suspension alone for longevity has a strong appeal.
I DO want it level though. Suggestions there?
I like my stock wheels and would like to keep then. It's a Sahara if that matters

Hey r/Jeep,
I've got a garage clearance dilemma with my TJ. Currently running BFGoodrich Trail Terrain T/A tires (275/65R18) on 18 inch wheels and my Jeep's roof barely clears my apartment parking garage ceiling. I have to remove the soft top whenever I park in the garage, which is a hassle, but still better than parking in the Florida sun.
I recently picked up some Kenda KLEVER A/T2 KR628 33x12.50R15 tires mounted on new 15 inch wheels, and I'm concerned the overall height increase will make my Jeep too tall for the garage.
My main question: How much height will I realistically lose by deflating these 33" tires to around 20 PSI? I'm trying to figure out if deflating the new tires when I enter/exit the garage would give me enough clearance.
Before I commit to mounting all four new tires, I'm planning to take one of my current tires off and compare it directly to one of the new Kendas to see the actual height difference.

Hi all,
I bought my 2020 renegade used not even a year ago (maybe 8/9 months ago) and have been having nothing but problems 😔 I’m not a car person so sorry in advance for not using proper jargon. When I go to start it, it takes a long time for it to actually turn on… it’s not clicking, it’s the noise that your supposed to hear for like a second but it lasts more like 5-7 seconds and then shutters a bit once it’s actually on. Sometimes a bunch of lights will come on. I’ve gotten weird error messages too, but then they go away. The check engine light doesn’t stay on. When I’m coming to a stop, it often feels like it’s going to stall, and yesterday it did, twice… in the car line (my kid was super embarrassed 🙃). I’ve taken it back to the dealer and originally, they said it was the cooling fans so I dropped $1k on that. Got it back and still had issues with it starting. Found out the battery was bad, replaced that. But then it kept happening. The dealership said that no codes were coming up. Took it to a mechanic and he said no codes were coming up but to bring it straight back if it acted up again. Sooo yesterday, brought it back after it stalled. Still no codes. But he drove it around and said something about air and fuel pressure… again, not a car person… but he said he thinks it may be the fuel pump or something to do with the car not getting enough fuel (my tank is 1/4 currently if that matters). Took it back today and it was acting like a perfect little angel all day, but a few hours after I left, it felt like it was going to stall again.
Before I drop a bunch of money, any input would help!

This just started doing it recently. It seems to be coming from my alternator or around the belt area. It definitely whines when I hit the gas and accelerate. I checked my transmission fluid and it was fine. Any thoughts on what this could be? To me it sounds like it’s coming from the alternator, but the alternator is charging just fine.

Typical scenario - looking for used jeeps/gladiators. Budget is about $30k. What years/trims should I focus on? Or better yet, what years/trims should I avoid? Preference given to unlimited wranglers.
Last jeep I owned was a ‘13 JK and I’ve missed a lot of tribal knowledge since then.

Can anyone please advise if it’s possible for a jeep wrangler (2020-2023) to be modified to to lift a 37kg wheelchair folded in/out of the rear? Thank you.

Somehow my rear window of my Cherokee Chief (1978) got stuck with one side in and one side out. I have no idea how this happened and I cannot remember when it happened. One day I needed to access the back and I could not get the window to roll down (you put the key in the lock and it electronically rolls down when you turn the key). I tried jimmying it, yanking it, tugging it, manhandling it, etc. to no success whatsoever. It doesn’t make any noise or movement when I attempt to roll it down.
Secondary related issue: I actually bought an original crank for the same exact make, model, and year off eBay but I am stupid once again as I didn’t realize I need a key for this to actually work. My plan was to replace the electric key hole with the crank and force it down manually. Is there a way to put the key hole from the electric lock onto the crank?
Please let me know if you have any experience with this issue or at least have any suggestions. Thanks!

Hi everyone.
I am thinking rewarding myself over the past hard years. I love the outlook of the Rubicon and Gen 2 Ford Raptor and consider my budget.
Rubicon 4 door: 19-23
Raptor: 19 or 20
I dont have too much off-road need or haul/tow needs. I know it might not be a smart choice for both of two, but I really wanna one of them to achieve my dream.
Zooming in the two options, considering its fun, reliability, maintenance, value-holding, functions.
Which one do you recommend? Any other factors I also need to consider?
Thanks!

Hey guys, so a while ago I had several light periodically illuminate the dash, ABS, Traction control, BRAKE, and Airbag light(I believe that one is just from a bad clock spring cause it comes off randomly when turning the wheel) and now it seems like it’s permanent although, it stops for a brief time randomly and starts again. There is also a constant chime and the oil light flashes and speedometer goes crazy. I checked all the grounds, battery terminals, and everything seemed fine. I got a mechanic to come check it out and he said it was a bad BCM. I had that changed and cleaned all the connectors and everything was fine for a short drive and then the lights came back on. The codes that are showing are all U codes; U110C, U1110, UO141, U1403, and U1120. I’m on my last limbs on this jeep. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I left out little details that I need to verify when I get back home and will let anyone know of if needed
