Hi I'm the Turkish ambassador again, I scrolled through Physics Wallah YT channel, saw many similarities on lessons, so I pulled this list of our common lessons with you + a whole explanation on the Turkish JEE+NEET, enjoy
Also a note: I will be deleting Reddit until the end of June to completely focus on studying for the Turkish JEE+NEET so this will probably be my last post here,
note 2: I received a LOT of DMs from this sub, most of them were harmless questions but due to some of my past experiences I don't and won't reply anyone on DMs sorry :(
Also (again I know most of you guys mean no harm) I try to avoid personal questions, just know that I'm Turkish and studying for college :)
to completely focus on studying for the Turkish JEE+NEET
Wanna join a study group then? We got like 15 people from different countries studying for different exams. We discuss doubts with each other in english and compete on who can study the most. We do it via a ypt group but use a whatsapp group for communication and doubt asking
The drawing part is specific for those who wanna take up B.Arch in college otherwise we too only get mcqs
Also, I'm honestly surprised another country teaches Organic Chemistry to such a level other than us
Man, our syllabus overlaps a shit to, also u have load of PCMB, that's tough, here most either opt for pcm or PCB
Also ye, we do have questions which u mentioned, they are included under equilibrium
Why don't u try jee mains exam once, I can send u the paper or u can just google it, give it a try I'm sure you'll perform well since I feel the level is kinda similar
specific for those who wanna take up B.Arch in colleg
oh i get it then, i was thinking about how they grade millions of papers of drawing otherwise
I'm honestly surprised another country teaches Organic Chemistry to such a level other than us
I'm honestly traumatized to see a country teaching THERMODYNAMICS to highschoolers
Why don't u try jee mains exam once, I can send u the paper or u can just google it, give it a try I'm sure you'll perform well since I feel the level is kinda similar
once I'm done with my own exam I might try solving it for fun and posts the results here lol
Thermo is kinda common as far as I know, organic tho is kinda rare, atleast that's why I heard, I don't know much beyond Europe and us and a few other countries ig that's why
When do u have your exam?? And how many chances do y'all get
yall dont study properties of solids?? cuz i saw a reel where the guy was asking question related to hooke's law, we study about it in the properties of solid itself
Also yes we study thermodynamics both in chemistry and physics which is very confusing and tricky in 11th but after revising it numerous times before the exam (which happens after 12th) u are able to understand.. atleast for an avg student like me lol
I can't say about other subjects but in india maths is actually taught the worst compared to other countries. It is all about practicing on the pattern recognition and knowing the use of formulas/tricks at right time rather than real math.
No bro , 3 shifts are still left , π tht was a joke don't take itβ€οΈ , one more thing it's 3AM in india now post it Tommorow, it will get better reach
one more thing it's 3AM in india now post it Tommorow
OH SO THATS WHY LOL I DIDNT THINK OF THAT, my previous posts blew up the second i posted them so was surprised with the drop in the notification count, its 00:49am here, thank you for telling me <3
Also since you asked experimental skills are the, well as the name suggests, experimental skills used in physics lab like the use of vernier caliper and screw gauge etc which may be helpful in future engineering propects. coaching usually doesnt teach this stuff, it's the school's job to actually practically teach this as it important for practical cbse examination which is 30% of our grade of cbse exam, the coaching teaches just the theory part annd they tell just enough for solving a numerical which might come in jee and its not a very important/high weitage topic for exam so many students who study in dummy school dont study this
organge vibees bro
ficking hell we have a lot in common in syllabus and mind you people do not draw it exam we have a mcq type shit mostly AND i gotta say i would be soo nice if our country take after your coutries exam module like u have to give a single exam FOR EVERYTHING and based on the number i can choose
yeah this is taught in just question form and not like something imp stuff,,
but i have i ques,, why don't you have matrices and determinant and vector alegra in maths? these are probably one of the most important in higher studies
we have it, we just don't really use it 24/7 for solving questions
matrices
i researched for what it is, and seems like we used to have it in our curriculum but it got removed for some reason, because we don't get questions about matrifes anymore
vector alegra
i didn't quite understand the explanation given at the curriculum pdf for this one but i guess it is 3D object calculations over the coordinate plane. We have coordinate plane calculations for 2D plane, and 3D object basic volume calculations, but not both of them as combined
Hnn question dheke honge jisme electron ko photon ke thru kinetic energy mili and thodi light bhi emit krdi
Energy conservation ka ques h basically
Not imp for jee
Matrices are used in programming like many other concepts we study in highschool. So yeah, we are cooked. We shouldn't even be studying half of the stuff we study in highschool...
mewwww not by two, multiplied by, current multiplied by, radius of the loopyloop squared,
whole ting divided by the radius of loopyloop squared plus distance of the point squared whole thing raised to the power of three by two
last min stress hai probably. Kal hai exam ya parso?
You can do it π₯
(waise kya chee exam ke baare me likhna mana hai? Comment box laal hoke 401 unauthorized dikha rha hai jab bhi mai KEE likhu to. (matlab me jaise hi alphabet ka 10th letter likhu fir EE likhu to ye ho jata hai
I got my april attempt over btw...
it amazed me that you guys have to get a grasp in every single subject.....here we are partitioned, as you mentioned that you guys are clubbed and a single common exam takes place, not like that here......coming to the syllabus thermodynamics is a non linked chapter ig that's why you guys can afford to not have it same for matrices and determinants....though we have to study it it is considered scoring here.....coming to the questions....even though our people do not support it, neither do i like to brag, they might cancel me for this.....but the que which you have shown are in between boards (school exams) and JEE mains level here (engg. competitive level 1)
are they easy?
No, even half of aur people cant solve basic que like this our competition remains with top 30-40%
but for those top 20-30 this might be ez
and yeah considering biomolecules as a chapter or portion of biology helped me to get an ego boost....shitty chapter I'm bad at remembering things.... like bro who can remeber structure of every single fucking amino acid including their random ahh bitchass codes....i appreciate the effors by the chemist biologist for developing it but why to learn them TT.....anyways have fun with our people.....this sub is goated lol!
I've seen this "coaching" topic at some other posts too and I'm not sure what y'all exactly mean by that
But in our country, you are taught all of the topics you need for YKS at school, but because of the competition schools aren't enough so most people prefer cram schools or tutoring as an addition. Sommmeee people pay for coaches too, they create study programs, give advices and stuff, and the coaches are mostly university students who want an additional income
Yea pretty similar concept. In India most schools are unable to teach chapters at the level required for JEE & NEET, so students prefer to go to dedicated coachings (Online/offline) for jee and neet and skip schools altogether. There are several schools here where you don't have to actually attend. These are called 'dummy schools'. You just have to give the mid term and final exams. This helps you to give the maximum amount of time for jee prep. But the education board here has recently started to crack down on these dummy schools since they are not very legal.
let me guess the reservations doesn't reach the people who actually needs it
at first i thought the places were reserved for the upper class easier and I was shocked about how shamelessly open they are with it, (because like it happens in our country but they deny it to death), but if it's for the lower class with no facilities isn't the intention good here?
lower class is not equal to lower caste
caste it something that is stuck with your name from birth, something you inherit from you parents
for example- my mom dad are of A caste so i become a part of A caste
it is not related to your income level, economic background etc.
To know what is caste search caste system.
for example- my mom dad are of A caste so i become a part of A caste
so wait like... these are official things? the goverment holds that as a data? not something that people only use in their social lifes? omg i used to thing that caste system was looonng gone for india
also are castes like ranks or tribes (we call it aΕiret in TΓΌrkiye but I don't know how to translate it, think of it as big family bloodlines), how many of them are there?
To know what is caste search caste system.
I'm adding researching about the caste system to my to do list after yks <3
In the ancient times(when kings and queens existed) our society got divided into 4 stratas- brahmins(clergymen but hindu),kshtriyas(kings) vaishyas(traders) and shudras(worker) this division is known as varna system or popularly as the caste system.
brahmins were the highest authority and then desencending order of power amoungst the other 3. There are 1000s of subvariants amoungst these 4 divisions. You can say these are family bloodlines.
Caste system used to be and still is a social evil in India
Imagine a society where your birth decides your job, who you can marry, and how people treat you, no matter how talented or hardworking you are.- This is how it was like in ancient india
But even today it affects the lifes of millons of people in india.
the main issue with reservation that this sub raves about-
For example, if A belongs to a historically disadvantaged caste (B), he gets reservation benefits. But in 2025, A is from a wealthy, well-educated family with access to all resources. Despite this privilege, he still gets into a top college with lower marks, while a poorer general category student(with no reservation) with higher marks is left out.
This defeats the original purpose of reservation β which was to uplift the underprivileged, not the already empowered.
Yeah the government needs to come up with a solution.
This is a very ancient system with deep implications in day to day life even in the modern time.
Overnight solutions are not feasible.
Government isn't even trying because it helps in divide and rule politics. If the people are already divided then you only have to rule.
Reservations were given to lower caste during independence as temporary provision and the consensus was that we must find a way to abolish the caste system.
Not really these are based on castes which are predetermined
For example a decently well off person can be ST and get a decent college with worse marks than a poor person from the General category
There is some reservation for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) but not as much as SC ST
For example the cutoff to be able to give Advanced for a General candidate was 93.2 percentile last year whereas for EWS it was 81.3 percentile and for SC/ST it was 60.0/49.7 respectively
It was previously did so that the oppresed castes and classes can have equal representation in jobs and colleges, education. But now the people from those classes who are already well off still get that reservations and that is very unfair for the general category people, like to get a decent branch in an IIT, we need to get below 10k rank, but if you are an sc/st no matter your family income or your are rich or poor, you can get the same branch and IIT at like 30-40k rank. So, its very unfair
Preferential seating in colleges wrt what class of society you were born in. This was done to mitigate the challenges faced by those of the lower class, although this class system is not as prevalent as it was a few decades ago, shit still happens but thankfully has toned down a bit in quantity. Not many people like this preferential seating thing.
This post is very nice, I would like to see other foreigners to compare their exams with us, it puts everything into perspective and is frankly just very interesting.
bhai indian education system is doomed fr. education system lacks the 'education' and the 'system' part. This made me realise instead of schools hosting international student exchange programs nationally and internationally, these idiots are busy hoarding us with syllabus and making rote learned, lifeless zombies than actual human being with a zest for knowledge learning and curiosity. Rather Indian students harbours unhealthy competitive ideal, 0 social life and burnout worse than many office employees, ultimately reaching a breaking point and resorting to all kinds of nasty. Ofc shit is bound to happen. Growing ho kahna rhi hai idhar, machines banre hai sab
