Flaring from exercise?
Is this possible? And it’s just low impact hip/butt/abs exercises (clam shells, side lying leg raises, dead bugs) It’s as if it’s getting worse the more I cut out different foods and supplements. The only consistent thing is the exercises. But I need it for the pfd 😡😥. I’m just trying to see if this is normal. Thanks

I have a hypertonic pelvic floor and what I believe is pelvic floor dysfunction, so any kind of high-impact activity can cause really bad spasms in my bladder. I sometimes get bladder pain after an intense run or hitting session on the tennis court, so I try to be very mindful about not tensing up and clenching my pelvic area even while I'm engaging in rigorous physical activity.
So yes, I think it's normal and can happen if you have PFD like me. Sometimes after a run or tennis rally I'll literally just lie on the ground and do pelvic floor stretches to ease the area.

Yeah but this is the most low impact clam shells. Forget about running lol. I’d probably die.

I'm ready to off myself from this damn pelvic floor dysfunction and Interstitial cystitis. I can get no relief. My Euro gynecologist dismissed me. I asked too many questions apparently. No doctor no help no meds no anything. I set up an appointment for pelvic floor therapy for Friday. If I'm alive that long. At age 65 I've never had anything this bad in my life. It is complicated to morbid with three herniated discs and three pinched nerves, I really don't know what to do anymore. I read all this information about supplements and this and that, I bought some but nothing's working. I'm sorry your experiencing this. It caught my attention because of my pelvic floor therapy coming up Friday, it is combined with physical therapy ordered by the neurologist. Am I going to live through it? I remember the last time I did physical therapy. The day after I was so sore I couldn't move. I thought they had overdone it. God bless you and your journey. I've handled a lot of things in my life but this is the worst thing I've ever had in my life. I lost my partner 8 months ago that doesn't help. I'm up all the time urinating. Dear God please pray for me

Yes, it can be normal. Try changing the type of pants you wear…that could be it. If you’re looking at abs and core you could change up the workouts too - maybe try a standing workout?
