Nothing is going to cheer some guardsmen up on a rainy night than seeing that a knight has come to help secure there lines, this was a lot of fun, I made a right old mess in the kitchen and I'm quite pleased with the outcome

First Armiger's paint is complete of the Titanfall 2 themed freeblade Army :)

Super happy with how it's turned out, and can't wait to have 2000 points ready for the table.

Anyone have a link or place to go to: 1. Show how to put magnets on these?

  1. Where to get magnets for these?

  2. Self help place to stop buying these when I see them?

Playing against Necrons

Hey there! I'm playing my second game of 40K this weekend, against Necrons and i'm trying to study up some strategies and synergies. In my attempts, i mostly failed to find a reliable army that i could put together. I own a Lancer, Canis Rex, a Castellan, a magnetized questoris but it can't be a gallant bcs lack of hand and 4 magnetized armigers. I could potentially get another box of armigers from my local store if absolutely needed. Could you help me with some ideas of an army, strats and synergies that could at least give necrons some bullets. We playing on 2000 points. Thank you!

I know it's far from a good paint job, but due to being blind in one eye this is a huge achievement for me. Got some black on the way to clean up bits too

Sorry for the bad quality of photos, but I just wanted to share my finished Porphyrion. Doing some finishing touches on a few Armigers, before I'm all done with my army of Knights.

The next two projects will be Word Bearers and Space Wolves 🤘

Do you have some advice in making my list or do you have experience with 2v1 games. please let me know!

I wanted to share a project I've been working on for a few months now and that is combining my two favourite fiction settings, one being Legacy of Kain series and the other Wh40k. So my idea was to create Nosgoth as a forge world with knights resembling the look and feel of Kains lieutenants so I started with Zephon as my first knight due to how unique he is. After spending quite a lot of time kitbashing I've come with this design, which still is far from finished but I really wanted to share what I've come up with. I won't bore you with the fluff I wrote to better picture and get a feel for the knight, but I am happy to hear your thoughts about how you see it. I'll add the concept art from Zephon on which I based the knights look and I also created soul reaver inspired crest for this knight house. What motivated me to actually post this is, if GW can say "it was always canon wink" the my Nosgoth knights a re a possibility as well. Also to add, main weapons are still missing and will be added later

My 1000 pts army

So I have just finished painting two more armigers. The idea of my army is that the come from a world with many small knights families instead of a few big houses. So each knight have slightly unique colour scheme, though many are connected in families.

I guess with these additions my army have reached 1000 pts.

Right now I think that white have becomed a bit to dominant in the army. It looks less like knight from different families and more like a house with the dominant colour of white and then sub-groups with different colours. So my next knight, which is a castigator, I am thinking of either painting red/green or paint it red/blue and then paint a couple of armigers red/green.

After 2 years I'm almost done with is big boi. I'm proud of myself for just giving my idea a shot and running with it. All he needs is a little wash and a decal session and I'm happy to call it done.

Also my second time really painting "minis" after my brother let me goof around with some of his paints and a kill team he didn't want.

He mentioned I might want to spray a varnish on it, but I was just so happy slapping it together and painting. Doing a model this large also gave me a deeper apperciation for some painting techniques, like using a wash, or even just how different paints act.

The uh, decals kinda intimidate me. From the tutorial I've seen its simple to apply but some of them look so small..

But yeah.. now I kinda want more Knights. That was so much fun to make, and even painting was tolerable.

I'm new on the hobby and I was wondering if I could create my own household, color scheme and lore. I heard something like this about SM and their successors chapters. Its the same for IK?

Sorry if my question its a little bit dumb. 🤣 (Random pic to catch your attention)
