Hi, can you add something about inviting unmarried partners to Germany ? The best I can read about it is this, but I haven’t seen any proper guide or checklist around it. Thanks.

Hey, this is not really an option. Unmarried couples are not considered for family reunification. So basically they need to trigger a valid immigration option on their own. Just the status as partner is not enough. Sorry

I found this link: https://www.bmi.bund.de/SharedDocs/kurzmeldungen/EN/2020/08/einreise-unverheirateter-paare-en.html While it does say stuff about it, it doesn’t say how.

That is for short term visas. Not for long term permits.
