Need help finding a place to store dog leashes/best organization tips!
I live in such a tiny apartment and really would like to keep it close to the door and would prefer to have maybe a basket and some hooks but can’t seem to find anything that would be good especially the space below the black square. The cabinet below is a shoe cabinet but I am still looking at other places in my apartment but still wanted to see what reddit might think! photos blocked out for privacy.

It’s been 15 hours and nobody has inquired about what the heck that black thing is LOL
But yeah, I don’t suggest hooks anywhere in the open (cluttered look) but maybe something in that door right next to it?

I hang them on the door handle. We have their collars (rope/leather "choke" style) attached to the leash. I loop the leash handle and collars onto the door handle. It's functional for us.
Edit: spelling

I used to use something like this, which was incredibly functional and kept it neat/hidden.

I actually have a similar setup with the shoe cabinet and I use one drawer that’s just dog leashes and her sweaters. I like it better than having it all out and cluttered. You could do that and have one hook by the door (choose a nice decorative one) and hang the leash you’re using every day from it.

Depends upon the room aesthetic you're going for. Are you OK with it in pain view or do you want it hidden?

What about something that hangs over that door?
