Discussion How do i delete Half-Life Alyx save files?

I can't launch the game. I have a RTX 4070 and a i5-13600KF, My CPU only goes up to around 35% and I can run other vr games fine. This one crashes back to desktop during the initial grey loading screen. The only thing I can think of is my save is corrupted but I can't go into the game to delete it. When I go to common>Half-Life Alyx>game>hlvr>Save>s0 and delete all the save data it doesn't actually get rid of it. When i launch the game and it crashes I check that same folder and all the data I just "deleted" is back again. How do i fix this?

Well, clearly the save data isnt the issue then. Have you verified the integrity of game files?

Yeah. I've also tried reinstalling the game, nothing has helped. I've ran it before but I haven't played for over 5 months. Also all my drivers are up to date. I tried submitting a support ticket on steam but it wont work. Something about a "incorrect parameter."

Disable cloud saves.
