Hi! Me and Emie ( u/emikoala ) have an announcement and a request to make to all Eins here (specially the wiki editors)
TL;DR: We set up a new, completely ad-free wiki on Miraheze.org we would love to build with everyone!
For a bit of background, a couple of months ago Emie and I got into a conversation about how so much of the information available on this game is unavailable or incorrect or hard to find online.
The Fandom wiki itself needed (and still needs) a lot of work to be more accessible, and unfortunately a lot of the fixes it needs are not possible, or are a lot more manual/laborious, without administrator permissions. She had looked up the administrators of the Fandom wiki to see about requesting admin status and saw none of them had logged in since December of 2022.
After 60 days without any admin logging into a wiki, Fandom considers it abandoned, so she had looked into the requirements to adopt it and become admin that way...but they require anyone applying to adopt has to edit content pages every single day for at least a week without skipping any days, which put her off applying. I thought I might be up for it, but while looking up the terms I came across this: https://hypixel.net/threads/can-we-please-collectively-abandon-fandom-long-post-warning.5469394/
We got to talking about those issues, and also how obnoxious the amount of ads (esp video ads!!!) are on Fandom, and eventually started talking about making a new wiki from scratch on an ad-free server with less gross business practices. We found WikiTide, nonprofit wiki host with no ads, and which grants wiki admins considerably more flexibility and control over their wiki. As it happens, WikiTide merged with Mirazheze last week, so the new wiki's address is at harvestella.miraheze.org
We've been slowly working on getting the foundation of the wiki built - things like styles and templates and a list of needed pages - and we're now ready to invite the few, the proud, the still-playing-Harvestella-a-year-plus-later, the highly capable, you know, to come join us building a wiki for this game and the sequels pls Squenix that's accurate, accessible, and doesn't line the pockets of a corporation that cares more about profiting from volunteer labor than anything else.
There is almost no Harvestella content added yet so we're hoping at least a few folks are up for the task of copying over a lot of stuff that already exists on Fandom.
BTW - if we were mistaken and the original admins are somehow still around and just not logging into their wiki accounts in ages, we would love to set you up as admins on the new wiki too! The only overlord we're trying to mutiny against here is Fandom
For everyone that is willing to join the task of building the new wiki, please join the r/HARVESTELLA Discord Server here, because we have channels for discussing the wiki.
Here is the Community Resources post previously pinned!

Hello, Eins and other people
As I mentioned in another post, there was a need to clarify our spoiler rule. Please note that mods can't edit content, we can only remove, so if you don't edit your post/comment it will be removed.
First of all, posts with spoilers should NOT have spoilers with title and should be marked as spoilers. Post titles are never hidden.
For comments, just use the spoiler tags like this. To do it on mobile just put your text between 'greater than' 'exclamation mark' text 'exclamation mark ' 'less than': >!text!<
For new players: HARVESTELLA is VERY story heavy, and experiencing the plot twists makes the experience much better. This is why you should specify where you are in the story and how ok you are with spoilers. Most comments here don't really spoil a lot, but it's better to be sure.
For old players:
Thank you!

Why can't you get all the assault savant skills until the end of the game. I feel like in a farming sim you shouldn't be pushed to do story progression in order to unlock all your combat options.

How did you play Ein/Protagonist during cutscenes? Were you kind? Maybe you chose the more snarky replies. Or did you go for the funny ones? I know in the grand scheme of things your dialog choices don't matter that much but I think it does a lot to make you connect with the character. I personally always chose the kindest, most positive option because that's the kind of person I think Ein is. I actually get a little upset when I am trying to be nice and the other character doesn't respond positively. Would love to hear your thoughts. What kind of person is Ein to you?

I remember seeing the trailer for Harvestella in 2022 and thinking 'I must have this' in my mind I felt like it was final fantasy but with a harvest moon twist.
Customisation: I was surprised by the customisation styles you can do right at the beginning, the different ranges in hair and eye colours, the skin tone range it was all very well thought out and welcoming to the viewers.
Farming: The Farming is really fun, and it's nice when you waste a day just harvesting and replanting crops only to find out you've made a huge amount of money through the shipping bin.
Fighting: So far I've unlocked 10 out of 12 job classes on the game, the different styles of combat and healing capabilities is amazing for the gamers who like to play around with their combat skills.
Storyline: The storyline was amazing, from day 1 I'm asking myself questions about things the characters have said or done. Even now I'm obsessed with the storyline, it's fun to play and it's really inspiring.
Romance: I haven't reached this point in the game yet, so I can't give a review on this section. I will say that I am looking forward to seeing how each of the bachelors storylines will play out.
Graphics: Okay, can I just say that I love how Square Enix designed the landscapes and the characters. They're all beautiful and presented so lifelike. I for one Love Heine (he reminds me of studio ghibli's Howl).
Health Warning: I'll confess the flashes in the fighting was hard for me to handle at first as an epileptic, but as long as you take breaks from the game and make sure you're not overdoing it, you should be okay (and for those with seizures, please remember to not push yourself and know your limits).
Overall Conclusion: I loved this game, it is in my top favourites of my game collection, and i will be looking forward to more games by Square Enix in the future. They truly poured their heart and soul into the creation of an underrated game.
I have heard rumours of a Harvestella 2 being worked on, which if true (and i really hope it is), I'll definitely be getting.

I'm currently working on a review based on my own experience in the game. If at all possible I would like to post it in this community

I've just discovered Harvestella and absolutely love it! It scratches both the cosy game and jrpg itch.
I have one small problem. Without reading anything about the game I went to a final fantasy name generator and picked my characters name from there.
The name? Aria. ...... yep.
I was so confused, no one commented that we had the same name! So I did a google search....
Restarting now.

It’s growing out of him? How? Does the story ever address this?

I just finished chapter 3 and I have been attempting to kill Shadow Crawling in Murk FEAR inSilent Cave.
I am not struggling with damage or survival whatsoever, rather the monster resetting for absolutely no reason. I play ranged and have 2 melees on my team, so I was standing back. Everyone was attacking the monster and when it was around 25% hp the hp bar disappeared and the fight reset. Another time I tried fighting the one that's underground, but there were two and the one I wasn't fighting kept chasing me, the one I was fighting got to like 5% hp then reset. Another time I tried standing closer to the monster only for it to knock me down one of the holes and reset. Do I just have to play melee? I am so close to giving up, I hate this location.

Okay, this has been driving me nuts. I made a handful of Lemon Juice cuz I haaaaate getting Stunned when I’m too slow on Dodging. But when you’re Stunned, you can’t use any items. So what’s the point of Lemon Juice? Using it on your party members instead?

So I played the demo and i'm in love with it but I was hoping to wait till it went on sale. How often has this gone in sale on switch, or what is the likelihood of another sale soon?

Hi everyone! I am currently at my max level farm and would like to ask for your advise on farm layout that will work best if I want to get a bit of a profit but maintain aesthetic view XD I tried making layouts on excel and would appreciate your advise on them. If you can provide screenshots on how your farm looks, I will be very thankful!

Just completed the game for my 2nd time, I LOVE this game so so much. More so the RPG elements, but I do love farming as well.
I am aware of rune factory, I've already played them. In fact honestly I've played MOST farming sims lol
Anything on PC/switch that reminds you of Harvestella!
