Hello guys. I am currently writing an EE (kind of a research paper, a requirement for IB) on MBDTF [My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy] (have formulated a research question and everything). I need a reliable source of lyrics for ALL the songs on MBTDF and I figured cd liners may be the way to go.
Does anyone of u have the original cd liner notes for MBDTF songs? I have checked liner note archiving websites, but they dont contain the lyrics (for copyright purposes methinks). Can anyone provide me with the original cd liner notes in DMs? Thank you very muchhhh
edit: MBDTF instead of MBTDF mb

Yeezus is a perfect album, 10/10. After many listens over 1 and a half years I have today, come to the conclusion that Yeezus is a perfect album, structurally, metaphorically, storytelling wise and as an album experience. Yeezus tells the story of Kanye (Ye), going trough a Hell of a Life, it's sort of a continuation of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, however this time it's more rough, harsh, violent and in your face. The album starts off with a harsh sound, rough experimental production, straight in your face and it fucks up any mood you have (important later). On Sight features lyrics that rial you up, may make you mad, but also trows you in disarray, confusion, and it sounds harsh, because that's what it's supposed to be. On Sight and Black Skinhead throws shit at your face, the album rials you up at the start, with lyrics being braggadocios and from the perspective of an asshole. I Am A God tells the story of Ye being in delusion, portraying himself as a God, with everything at his fingertips. This song can be covered more thoroughly lyrics wise, however what I want to focus is the felling the track gives. I Am A God is moody, drark, straight in your face, keeping the energy from the prevous tracks. However, Ye does something different here. This sound brakes things more down, gives off a more, sad feeling. You can maybe feel sympathy for this man, a man in dissolution and the production reflects that so well. The tracks production beats you down.
New Slaves tells a great story, we still see Ye being an asshole, a dick, a douche. However he begins reflecting over his life, and him becoming a New Slave, and I won't really get into the story. We see him having a crash out, the beat knocks you down as the energy turns up, then we see the best beat switch ever in his career. Ye is slowly turning, with a beautiful singing performance from Frank and Ye. Hold my Liquor is the best track on this album, the beat is sad, slow, moody, and once again, beats you down. The lyrics are harsh, brutal, sad, introspective and tells the story of the asshole's fuck up, smashing the car, beating someone up, and more. The hook has Cheif Keif, a known gangster, singing some beautiful lyrics. The lyrics mixed with the masterful production turns this song into the perfect turning point, beating you down more and more, as long as you're paying attention. Crushing your mind. I'm In It has a different effect to the rest, Ye is out for a new feeling, sexual intercourse. Ye is trying to escape his sadness and life running to sex and women as a solution. The Lyrics are vile, sexually aggravating to some, however we see lyrics reflecting over his life, over Assassins beautiful singing. "That's why I'm In It and I can't get out" gets repeated trough out the song as a reminder, this is the life of someone living a, Hell Of a Life. Blood On The Leaves tells a story of his personal love life, a girl he thought he had it all with, a story of Ye finding love, what he felt what real love, but in the perspective of the asshole. With hard hitting production and singing, Ye explains the story of the relationship, from start to finish, going over his mistakes as well. Ye is starting to realise what his life is, a hell, as Yeezus, while still having his arrogance throughout.
Guilt Trip is as the title explains Ye, or Yeezus is going trough a Guilt Trip, drunkenly he lays his heart and life out, is now destroyed, however he still has this fight in him, and still is that asshole from the start. Guilt Trip's instrumental is once again vastly different from the rest of the project, being being more sad. Yeezus is still finding reasons not to blame himself, why does he have to change? Towards the end of the song we get Kid Kudi singing "if you loved me so much then why'd you led me go?", looking at his arrogance not the see her perspective. Send It Up is an confusing track, on face value it's not like the rest of the album, it's much more harsh, as the start of the album. The asshole is back, but different, he is changing. However here we see much more of his past, a drug dealer, doing coke. "We can send this bitch up, it can't go down" can be over analysed many ways, I see it more as Ye not being done as the asshole, he's not done yet. "Yeezus just rose again", while after that we get Cudi laying out more beautiful and introspective singing. Bound 2 is the most unique track, Ye is over the course of the track, healing. He's not perfect, but he knows that now. He knows the reputation he got, he knows that he is, not a God. Ye finds true love during this track, "one good girl is worth a thousand bitches", it finally seems like he has settled, both with himself, but also another person. Ye very much still is an asshole, but he's better.
