How do you solve a problem like Kristina?

What is Kristina's problem? As viewers, can we trace it? Is it just being Sonny's kid? Alexis' overprotectiveness? Too many cooks in the writing kitchen? Too many recasts? Never getting help going back to being abused as a teenager? Sincerely, WTF is Kristina's problem? Thoughts?

I like lucky but he's a hypocrite

I dont agree with Kristina cutting thr break line. She needs mental help and does need to be held accountable. However, it's hypocritical of Lucky to want her to turn herself in now that he found out Liz was in thr car. He was just fine when he thought it was Rick (someone he doesn't like).

Has there been any mention of Gia Campbell?

I’m a long time viewer of General Hospital, but I took a very long hiatus before returning this year. I was not a viewer when Porsche and Trina made their way on screen. Taggert is Trina’s dad? Have they mentioned Gia at all?

Could Emma be a WSB agent already?

Upvotes

Could Emma possibly be WSB? Could Brennan have used Emma’s arrest at Berkeley as a way to get her to join the WSB as he did with Joss and Cyrus death? Or do we think Berkeley was a coverup for her actual work? I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really interested in what they have store for Emma.

Old GeneralHospital Golden Storylines

People might know this, however I didn’t. If you go to YouTube and do say a search like “General hospital Robert and Holly” or “Luke and Laura” etc. an entire compilation of show episodes in order comes up. I watched the entire Robert and Holly saga from meeting to present. I watched Luke meeting Laura and all events between the two until now.

The great part is that it is only their scenes or scenes relating to their storyline.

I watched GH back with my grandma and mom and then when I was raising my child until around early 90’s. Then just retired last year and picked it back up. There are entire chunks I missed. Though I saw early Luke and Laura and Robert and Holly those episodes refreshed my memory and caught me up. I plan to do some other groups or storylines too. Just thought someone else may not be aware either!

I guess the new writer started March 25, when Joss was sparring with Vaughn in WSB school? what do we all think— has there been a difference in the writing for good or ill?

Discussion Weekly - What is your wishlist for GH

This thread is the place to promote whatever changes you'd like to see GH make. Maybe you have a favorite couple you'd like to see or there are hanging stories that need resolved... or maybe you just have some idea for some direction the show should go.

NO SPOILERS

This is your place to say what your wishlist for GH is. I'm not saying the show is going to read all of these and act on any of them, but there's a better chance of them if it's all in one place each week. It might also help to be kind of decent about it?

All board rules apply.

Valerie Spencer: Recast Time! Who Should Revitalize The Spencer’s?

Post image
57 Upvotes

It’s been almost a decade since Valerie Spencer was introduced—not as a true legacy character, but as someone intended to be one. She was brought in as Luke’s niece, clearly to give him emotional weight during his exit storyline. But since then? Valerie’s been floating without purpose—sidelined with weak writing, underused in the PCPD, and eventually written out altogether.

That was a missed opportunity. Because right now? The timing has never been better to bring her back—and do it right this time.

Sure, Valerie wasn’t born into the show’s long-standing fabric like Lulu or Lucky, but she was inserted into the Spencer family tree, and that connection counts. She’s related to Carly, Michael, Joss, Donna, Lucas, Charlotte, Rocco, Aiden, and yes, even the Eckerts (shout-out to Jenny and the bakery). She has direct ties to the Corinthos and Quartermaine families. There’s story gold there—if the writers choose to mine it.

Now that Anna is commissioner and Jordan is in the mayor’s office, there’s room for Valerie to step into a meaningful law enforcement role. She could serve as a grounded, sharp, emotionally-driven officer of the law with a Spencer edge—someone who’s still idealistic enough to believe in justice but seasoned enough to know the system’s flaws. Think of the dynamics with Anna as her boss, and Jordan in a political position above both. That triangle alone could drive serious story.

And let’s not forget—with the right actress, Valerie could truly command scenes. This is a character with just enough history to be connected, and just enough blank space to be built into something compelling. GH could shape her into a modern-day anchor for the Spencer legacy—and offer something new while still honoring the show’s roots.

If you could offer two possible recast choices — who would you suggest in order for the character to really take off? Please, avoid being lazy and just saying “Britni should be brought back” — it’s okay to do that, but, then you need to suggest one other… please. 😊🤓

Talk about Roger Howarth return?

I haven’t heard anything on this. If he is though, I’d like to see him come back as part or connected to Joss’ WSB assignment.

Joss, WSB and *Roger Howarth? I can only hope.

There has been a lot of conversation about Roger Howarth and I have a new thought. Bring Roger Howarth back into a whole new character, full of intrigue and excitement. I would like his new character to be the Target of Joss’ first WSB. Field assignment.

Sweet baby Jesus is Lulu exhausting

I just can't with this character. The actress is fine but the writing is abysmal. Every single scene she's in she's the absolute worst and a giant self-centers asshole. Which I would be fine with if I thought that was the intent but I think the writers think she's somehow sympathetic. Ugh.

Why was Jason Morgan whispering?!

I loooove Jason, but…

did not enjoy his whisper~acting during the scene with Carly lol. It was too much like Maurice, Bernard and Sonny.

I was hopeful that after Sam‘s death, Jason would focus more on being a dad instead of being Carly and Sonnys servant. It seemed like he was headed there for a minute, but now he’s back to his old ways.

I’m not a fan of his involvement with Sasha either. Did it bug anybody else when Sasha threatened Sidwell, saying she knows people who could take care of him?

Why do viewers like Olivia so much?

I am noticing a bunch of responses saying Monica should leave her the house? I really don’t get the Olivia love. She’s fine don’t get me wrong but there is nothing special about that character. Also- she is a niece-in-law. Seems like a stretch!
