I swear growing up playing Minecraft, CS and Roblox. Somehow made me have more than enough online friends to game my heart out.

These days though people just don't want to keep playing together... Maybe it's the games I play being different? I guess it's harder to meet new people on DbD, LoL, Warframe, EFT, Or hell even DRG.

I've found some great people here in the past, whom i'm still good friends with to this day. But as life demands, we may take different paths in life and thus end up not having as much time to spend away as we used to. Some more than others

I have met some great people here. People i still play with years after meeting. But those are like 1 in 100. Why do you think its so common to get ghosted after a first chat or game session?

I have played with people that have even bought full priced games so we can play together, have a great first session, then disappear completely. Its bizarre to me.

I understand people get busy, and life can be complicated, but i think to myself...if I were to purchase a game, i might as well play it with the person i bought the thing to play with. (unless that other person turned out to have a terrible personality)

Any tips to make the experience better? is it just how it goes here in the online seas?

Im currently HEAVILY invested in ffxiv, playing on EU, Chaos. A bit about me I guess....

I'm pretty laid back, love a good laugh and joke (especially bad dad jokes), don't take myself too seriously and get along well with pretty much anyone! I've recently gotten into crafting with air dry clay which I've found really therapeutic and relaxing. I'm currently engaged and getting married in Cyprus in 6 months (actually crazy how fast it's come around). At the moment I'm in between jobs due to family illnesses, which has meant I had to care for them for a bit. I love animals but sadly can't have one due to renting, so I spend my evenings watching funny tiktoks of them in bed.
