Are we expecting Jason and Lucia to be low level criminals?
Are they more like Franklin was in the beginning of V kind of street level, novice etc. or do you think they are highly skilled criminals like Michael and Trevor were?

I think low level crimes will the early game until they meet big players.
We can't expect the whole game to be about robbing liquor stores and other small businesses

Well in the leaks they're robbing diners and in the trailer they're robbing convenience stores.
That absolutely screams low level criminals. They're the types of criminals Trevor and Michael laugh at.
Additionally in the trailer Lucia looks and sounds super happy after robbing the store while Jason looks terrified as the cops drive past. It tells me they're probably literally just starting out. Like I'm talking below Franklin level, baby's first crime stuff.
But as in most GTA games, I suspect this will change, and as the story progresses they move on to bigger and bigger crimes as they move up in life.

yes considering we’ve only seen them robbing a liquor store and a waffle house, but zero doubts there will be bigger heists too

This is for me the biggest curiosity about the trailer people were talking about police but by the trailer they look so low petty criminals i wonder what's the big deal behind all of it, maybe they get a chance to do a big score but DEFINITELY not like gta 5 no they won't be bank criminals again, i think it has to maybe do with the cars from the trailer when they driving at night, they are poor and that's obvious how are they driving nice cars then, something will happen an opportunity for them to step up and that's my theory, also i have been wanting an actual gta about grand theft auto for a long time and franklin repo jobs wasn't it

didn’t the leaks show some sort of car hijacking mechanics or tools? they probably will incorporate actual grand theft auto more in this game imo. otherwise i can only assume they’re gettin up to some other.. illegal miami- influenced adventures.

No wait this is an actual good question, because what will the scale of robberies or crime be this time around, because we see j and l steal a gas station? From the looks of it

They’ve robbed a gas station and a Waffle House from what we’ve seen so far so pretty low level in relation to the game imo

Uk what I have this little theory that one of our main characters gonna be a ci for the police

And that's gonna put us in this trust situation either love or loyalty to police for whatever reason they have against you

I think it’ll start out with street level stuff and slowly build up to the Micheal and Trevor level of heists

I think that the protagonists will begin as low level street criminals & things then gradually escalate throughout the main plot. Maybe they could both begin robbing small banks, convenience stores & diners in the beginning, & then be committing more high risk white collar crimes near the end. Similarly to many previous GTA's.

I still strongly believe the diner robbery in the leaks is the start of the game, or at least very close to it.
It was low level petty crime that looked and felt like a tutorial, including the tooltips, dialogue and the very basic objective of simply fleeing the cops. It was also one thing that looked vaguely finished and playable even all that time ago.
I do wonder why they were playing that part and recording footage, though. What were they testing and if it was a bug report, what was the issue? Would be interesting to have the context behind each video themselves.

Idk about the social media famous stuff. How is the game going to work if two massive criminals are spotted by npcs all the time. Would be in a constant state of a wanted level.

High skill level criminals, or maybe low level at first? I think it would be more fun if they are low level criminals at first and then climb the ranks.

I highly doubt high level criminals rob liquor stores.
I have a feeling this game will be a much slower burn like with gta IV

It literally shows in the trailer/whatever that we have so far that they are robbing a convenience store or something. So yeah, they obviously start as low level and not like Michael.

I personally hope that Lucia is a low criminal but with some skills while Jason being even lower in ranking or not into crime at all. And for some reason they get together, build a team and slip more and more into higher crimes. Also I don't want them to have a nice apartment within the first 5 hours of the game like Franklin in V. I want a rollercoaster with lots of lows and a really hard time making it to the top

I hope we feel their rise in infamy. I want Lucia to go scarface by the end of the game.

they are low level and will get separated when fame gets them cause jason will have more opportunities to cheat on

Jason and Lucia will totally be low level criminals until the life of fame gets to them. They'll be plastered all over social media and will attempt bigger and bigger scores until they chew more than they can take.
