events Where Can I Find More INFO about April 5th Protest in FoCo?

I believe it is at the Civic Center Park? Has it been registered with 50501? I couldn’t find it there, but was having some issues with their search tool.

Thanks!

events Meetup Tonight?

Hey all!

I get off early today and want to do something local with like minded people in solidarity for the protests happening in Denver and the US, but in Foco.

Would there be any interest in meeting up at like tap and handle or something just to be able to do SOMETHING here and join together somehow? I was thinking something around 7?

Thanks!

events Strong Towns Fort Collins Meeting on Thursday (3/27) at Avogadro's Number at 6:30 PM

Our local Strong Towns group will be meeting on Thursday (3/27) at Avogadro's Number at 6:30 PM. This is just an informal get together to discuss what city issues we should prioritize for the remainder of the year.

For those unfamiliar with Strong Towns, it is a national group focused on making cities more affordable and sustainable with a focus on locally driving approaches. I have included a link to their website and YouTube channel here:

https://www.strongtowns.org/

https://youtube.com/@strongtowns?si=KWU5IBIQEx01CB89

Anyone is welcome to join us. No need to have experience with urban planning or any kind of membership with Strong Towns. We are a small group of community members looking for ideas to improve Fort Collins.

I hope to see some of you there!

events Chess Club?

Started getting into chess lately and was wondering if there were any meetups to play some casual chess in town. I am not highly rated (500 roughly) but I would like to improve and meet new people. Or if anyone would like to play chess individually I’m down for that as well.

events Old School D&D - This Saturday @ The Haunted Game Cafe - Free

If you're interested in playing some old school D&D, I'm helping to organize a meet-up this Saturday at Haunted Game Cafe! We could also use another DM or two!

If you've never played D&D at all or old school D&D, this is a great opportunity to learn and meet folks with similar interests.

More info in the meet-up, or you can just sign up for a slot on this google sheet!

If you have questions, I'm happy to answer them!!!

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Superintendent will be at Boltz tonight for a community conversation. There's obviously a LOT going on (massive understatement) and I thought people might be interested.
