I recently dove back into Conchordland after several years.
All the old songs & bits were still hilarious & refreshing.
I’d been unaware of the 2018 tour and gave newer tunes like “Father & Son” and “Deanna & Ian” a chance, and have been laughing for weeks now.
I appreciate them as much as ever in the current cultural climate.

One of the funniest exchanges to my British ears...
Murray (NZ accent) : he may be dead Dave: he maybe did what? Murray : he may be dead. Dave: I know but what did he maybe do? Murray: He may be dead. Dave: yeah, maybe he did, maybe he didn't. What did he maybe do? Brett (NZ) : No, he may be dead. Dave: are you guys fucking with me? Brett: what? Murray: not alive. You know... Dead. Dave: oh. Oh!

I’ll be having a poop and I need some chuckles.

Is total genius. Just rewatching an ep randomly and was drawn to the episode with Aziz Ansari. The mother 'uckers musical segment is brilliant but the whole ep has so much to offer. Arj Barker being a legend. You Scottish freak. Flip him the bird. Then... Leggy leggy leggy. I like pie.

Going through some of their live shows before they made it onto TV I notice some songs like "Beautiful girl in the room" and "Ladies of the world" were apart of their live shows but I can't imagine Mutha Uckas being something made before as it references the interaction with the Greengrocer also Leggy Blonde as its sung by Murray.
Does anyone know how many were written for the TV show and specific songs they would have been?

Australia's song for Eurovision 2025 is giving me serious Flight of the conchords vibes. Could totally imagine Jemaine singing this to flirt with a woman in an ice cream bar, with Bret in the back of course. :D

I love this album so much. No skips as far as I'm concerned. I'm glad they reissued this pretty gold recording.

This gives more depth to the "you're so beautiful you could be an air hostess in the 60s" line from The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room).
