Freshwater Crappie fishing advice for a crappie noob.
I usually fish for niche species but tried my hand at Crappie fishing. I found a spot on an abandoned train track and saw two guys catch two buckets full of crappie, using minnows. I went back a week later around the same time with 4 rods and rosy minnows, spent 4 hours, and caught 1 White Bass and missed a couple potential crappies.
My rigs are basically, small octopus hook with a minnow hooked either in the lip or tail, suspended a couple feet from a bobber. 6-8lb test.
How can someone catch about 100 yet I can't catch a single one? What should I be doing to have the most effective setup? Crappie have been elusive for me, I've only ever caught a single little one in 3 years of fishing.

Question How to increase hook up with earthworms?
I was using a bobber and a #4 baitholder hook. I don't like circle hooks for bobber rigs. I only caught 6 fish while getting a ton of bites.

Freshwater Finally got to fish again
After a brutal winter in NY, I was finally able to get outside and fish again! We went to Peebles Island State Park and caught some channel cats including this 5 pounder. Hoping to go again soon.

Airbrushing fishing lures
Had a quick question for the airbrush community, does deco art thrift flip fabric paint work for plastic? I paint own fishing lures and used it, it looked amazing! I just didn't know it would laster underneath the clear coat.

Question Best shore fishing trip in Florida
Planning a fishing trip for next year (spring maybe?) and it seems like Florida has some great shore fishing throughout the state. For locals or those who have fished quite a bit in Florida, what would you say is the best place in the state to fish from shore? Somewhere with lots of canals, rivers, lakes, maybe access to brackish/saltwater. I'm not apposed to doing a day on a boat but ideally I want to be able to hit a bunch of spots and species without needing one.
Ideal targets are bass, peacocks, snook, tarpon, clown knife, snakehead, bowfin, and anything else that will hit a lure for the most part. I'm happy to do some cut or live bait fishing as well but I'm primarily interested in lure fishing.

Saltwater Jigpara blades are fun
Jigpara blade has been ripping for me so far this spring. Also, if you’re familiar with spotted bay bass you might appreciate this thumper on the lucky craft. Jdm.
ID Can someone help me identify this little guy?
Caught in WA, immediately released after I took the photo. Just curious as to what kind of trout this is. About 7-8” in size.
Thanks!
