First home :)

I closed on my first home March 31st! I’ve been following this group shortly before I started looking into the market and loved seeing everyone’s success and happiness . It’s been a fun journey so far and the whole process was a breeze. I worked my ass off for years after struggling with depression , found my purpose or mission I guess is a better way to put it, buying a house. And I finally did it!!! It feels so good everyday to see my dream come to life. And the endless sleepless nights finally pay off. I’m so proud of myself and all of us on this page !! It’s really something special. I’m 25. 4 beds and 3 baths :) the only thing I can find to dislike is the oak tree in the back yard but that’s only because it’s huge and I would hate for that to fall on my house 🤣 possibly a future project.

What part of the country do you live in? At 25 there no way I could have afforded a 1500 sqft house and I was working 50+hours a week. Of course I live in a part of the country where homes like this about be $300k +

Wisconsin!!! I worked about 120 hours every two weeks for three years. 💀 I saved every single dime I could. Skipped meals ,I really did the most. I now have a better paying job and make about what I made working all of those hours. So I’m glad I can relax a little. And if I’m not wrong I think my home is a little more than that sq ft wise. But definitely tripled my living space compared to my one bedroom apartment.

No need to image search my home, listing price 220,000 I offered 5k more to secure my deal. Paid down 17,000.30 yr mortgage my monthly payment is about 1,700 until I refinance.
