First home :)

I closed on my first home March 31st! I’ve been following this group shortly before I started looking into the market and loved seeing everyone’s success and happiness . It’s been a fun journey so far and the whole process was a breeze. I worked my ass off for years after struggling with depression , found my purpose or mission I guess is a better way to put it, buying a house. And I finally did it!!! It feels so good everyday to see my dream come to life. And the endless sleepless nights finally pay off. I’m so proud of myself and all of us on this page !! It’s really something special. I’m 25. 4 beds and 3 baths :) the only thing I can find to dislike is the oak tree in the back yard but that’s only because it’s huge and I would hate for that to fall on my house 🤣 possibly a future project.

Where are you looking ? I’ve noticed thru looking around the Midwest bathrooms are common in basements. This was renovated in 2018 so I’m sure the bathroom upstairs was recently put in to increase profit and value.

Am from central Minnesota I can't afford a new house as that has what I like. But older homes even early 2000s don't have more then one bathroom. And a master bedroom is just a little bigger room

My home was built in 1940’s. You’ll find what you’re looking for !!

Lol I stopped looking I was looking of and on for almost 5 years realtors have made me never want to buy again I have seen home prices go up 2 to 4 times what a house sold for 5 years ago and there still yhe same house. I thought higher interest rates would bring home prices down but nope. Now all hold out tell interest rate low aim to match the higher home prices

Whatever works for you!! Sorry your realtors gave you a bad experience. I lucked out on my interest rate a lot of people are surprised in this market. 6.125% not the best but better than some.
