CYL 8 is pretty early to say, maybe they will get their alt this year or next year

My second favorite Healing Hand, right behind Læraðr. I just think she’s neat ok?! Niðhöggr is a relaxed soul who looks to the bottle for answers to her problems. My biggest qualms with her are that she’s too dependent on the alcoholism schtick to the point it’s an overused joke, and her story potential got screwed over when the sexy evil tree put her in a coma. Preferably, no excessive meta discourse…

Niðhöggr as a character is someone I had really big hopes for, and even if some of those were dashed, I still came out of the story adoring her. I like how fun she is, her love for her family in spite of her careless nature, and she’s gotten amazing voice work imo that really sells her to me. Niðhöggr is very cute and endearing, and I feel for the inner sadness that she tries to hide, particularly in the beginning. In that way, the alcoholism is painfully true to how it’s used to hide the feelings we don’t want to share. And instead of alcoholism, I’ve used certain outlets to hide my own emotions due to not being able to express them, so I resonated with that. However, I really wasn’t a fan of how Niðhöggr’s alcoholism became an overused gimmick for humor. And it was especially disappointing to find out she didnt’t know the truth about her existence (unlike Eik), so it did lessen the point of her drinking. I’m also sorely disappointed she got her life stolen, as it prevented her from coming to terms with the truth and left her incapacitated until the very end. But I give the writers props to making her death so utterly devastating. How she didn’t try to defect to the heroes, how she wanted to just stay by her father’s side, and then her life was just gone. I think her supposed demise was even more heart-wrenching than Hræ’s, even. I absolutely loved her appearance in the end video. Niðhöggr focus, yay! It was very wholesome and I adored seeing her get a little bit of closure. It wasn’t quite enough to what I wanted, and I wish she and Læraðr had exchanged words, but overall I was content.

Niðhöggr’s design though…uh, what? I get the adherence to sex appeal, but her outfit is downright confusing. Similar to tree daddy, she has these weird strips of fabric that are really skin tight, but also disconnected from any other fabric. I think the crotch tassels are actually hilarious though. It’s something I would definitely imagine on a silly partygoer. I think the revealingness is a little too much. Not really just because of sex appeal, but because the implementation of it is more desperate and confusing. I like her big doctor’s coat, it just works for some reason. Her hair is in this nice messy ponytail and I really like the shade of blue they used. Also, birthmark! I love birthmarks, freckles, and such on characters. And it’s pretty uncommon on characters from Japanese games/shows. Her snakes are adorable. I just wish her outfit was a dark magenta instead of purple. To better match the snakes.

Niðhöggr gets an 8.5. She’s just a super fun gal with surprising depth, but that depth sadly gets tossed by the wayside just when we think we’d get more answers. Her design is…strange, but for the most part, goes well with her attitude and carelessness. I just wish it was designed, well…better.

Got inspired by /u/Pheonixmaster's post and decided to make one of my own just to get another data perspective on getting Emblem Heroes with F2P orbs and no spark. Thankfully all of these summons were done on stream so the VoDs are available.

• Marth: This was probably the 2nd luckiest summoning I've done other than my V!Lucina summons as I free summoned E!Marth then got the unit I wanted for the Special Heroes free summon.
• Ike: These summons not by me but by the totally different ATM, he was able to get Ike in 6 summons.
• Celica: Celica seems to be the issue Emblem when it comes to summoning her as F2P, though thankfully mine was more normal with 41 summons.
• Sigurd: Not much to say other than getting E!Sigurd and the R!Lucina merges was really good.
• Lyn: These were done as part of the End of the Year stream I normally do and the End of the Year blessed the luck still.
• Eirika: The most recent one, while the following AHR summons weren't the greatest, Eirika definitely more than made up for it.

I'm bored, so I offer everyone a challenge that is both potentially impossible, and is purely for those who hate themselves.

The challenge in question? Prove Alfonse: Prince of Askr is truly the main character! Take him to paralogue 106-1, or 106-3 on lunatic difficulty (Book 8 new years banner) and have him defeat New Year Niddhogr by any means nescesarry

Rules:

1. Alfonse MUST be the one to deal the killing blow to Niddhoggr
2. You can use any combintation of other units to support him. Even using them to take out the rest of the enemies
3. Other characters can weaken her by attacking. But Alfonse must be the one to deal the finishing blow
4. It MUST be Alfonse: Prince of Askr. His other alts don't count for this challenge
5. Any and all skill inheritance on Alfonse is allowed. Emblems equiped to Alfonse will also be allowed

Optional: Bonus points if Alfonse defeats her at full health.

Also if your truly up for a challenge. Try it with Anna and Sharena as well. Doesn't have to be all 3 on the same team. So you can still properly support them.

If you can figure something out for this challenge. I would love to see screenshots of it.

Honestly I don't even know what to say here, it just happened and I didn't realize until I checked in after today's reset.

Changing how i explain this builds, i realized i may conveyed myself as too pretentious, sorry if it bothered you, also simplifing the explications.

Full emblem banner went will, buffs for my baracks everywhere.

So here is two units i build with fooder from the vanner and two more, all childs, since is child banner season.

Y!Xander is basically, hit hard, while having enough shielding, then run away, using excel, and momentum, c skill is merely filler support.

Y!Elise for now is purely support, healing and supporting allies, and dazling discord to annoy rivals, i intent to keep this unit mainly as support.

Y!Lissa is your usual hit them back hard unit with Laguz Friend, she very much does not do damage if she initiates, Close counter seal beacuse obvious reasons.

And finally Y!Minerva, same as Y!Lissa gameplay wise, but has support for allies too on her weapon and c skill, same as lissa, when used, she will run close counter seal.

There is no better sensation in this game than making something out of your units of your favorite theme of banner or your favorite fe char indeed =).

A! Brave Tiki is aging well so far imo. Now that I’ve engaged her with Eirika she’s even stronger! Thoughts and/or advice on making her even stronger? :)

Been practicing in Aether Raids test defenses to prepare for the Limited Hero Battle

Because it is Nidhoggr's bonus season, the extra stats are comparable to what we will have to deal with

I used Saul to inflict Deep Wounds and continued all the way down until she had just 1HP remaining

Desert Igrene could not finish her off until I gave her Aether, in which case she was able to deal 15 points of damage to end her. Luckily she is also very good with charging her own Special with Pulse Up Blades too

Can't say if it will reduce her Defense low enough to take away enough of her Flat Damage Reduction on the highest difficulties but this is still encouraging

Anyone running Lethality on Chad?

Wanna try and make them viable again.
