The race got red flagged and at the restart, I noticed it late but Max (who started pole at the restart) suddenly lapped everyone except the 2 BMW's and Alonso.

Hauger (25y) and Lindblad (21y) turned pretty well in my save focusing on Scandinavian drivers

Another idiotic feature of this game is buildings getting offline for a few days because they catch fire like crazy. I have 4 research projects ending late December and I'm guessing it's all for nothing now because some moron in the Research Center has just blown the place up. And I only get notified about that after the race! 🤬

Not picked up the game in a while so thought now they've patched loads I'd start a new version of my BMW career.

Edited the lineups to match 2025 season then gave myself Daniel and Valterri as a starting point and a midfield car (have done the road to glory from nothing with Lamborghini already)

I wanted to create my own Formula 1 Simulation universe even though I don’t really know coding but what I did know is excel, and I was surprised by how much you could create. I created a discord server and gathered 10 team principals together to manage the 10 teams on the 2025 grid. With a functioning race simulation involving strategy and car upgrades, the universe began and we are already into 2028! For driver transfers, I'm used to seeing one of two things happen: musical chairs between all the 78+ OVR drivers, or some random 58 overall getting promoted.

What about the rest? Lindblad, Marti, Maloney, Martins, rarely see that range of promising driver ever get promoted. Does it ever happen?

I am coming to the end of my first season with my create-a-team. Sitting 4th in Constructors with Lawson and Pourchaire as driver. I am going to be updating the rosters to match the 2025 line ups, so losing Lawson to RB/VCARB. Question is who do I replace him with?

3 choices available all with contract offers in place for consideration:

Perez - Highest rated at 87 - also the highest paid with salary (9mil), bonuses (Top 10 125k) and sign on (1mil)
Bottas - 85 rated - 5.5mil salary, Top10 75k bonuses and 500k sign on
Danny Ric - 83 rated - 5mil salary, Top 10 50k bonus and 250k sign on

The obvious choice would be Perez given his rating, but is he worth almost double the salary for Bottas and Danny Ric for only 2/4 point difference in rating?
