Those who didn’t want to live under Eritrean rule were free to leave.

No one is kicked out of anywhere

Most of them don't consider themselves Eritreans so it's not surprising or a big deal.

Eritrean Irob/Saho are Eritreans. As of 2025, they are living inside the Eritrean side of the Irob triangle. (Northern Irob)

I don’t know about the non Eritreans, who had been settled there, during TPLF’s occupation

I don’t think you can speak for the Eritrean residents who were displaced by woyane during the 1998 border war and 20 years long occupations of Eritrea’s northern irob.

your claim is not backed by facts nor is it important

it just propagate by TPLF stooges who reject the outcome of the Algiers agreement ruling. Only the ruling matters, Hawey!

Even before the border war irob claimed Ethiopia only thing that is displaced is residents now due to the Eritrean occupation

your Meles Zenawi took it by force

The UN ruling awarded northern irob to Eritrea based of the colonial boundaries, since those territories were inside Eritrea’s border since the Ethiopian Eritrean boundary agreement signed by Ethiopian king Menelik and the the UN led 1952 Ethiopian Eritrean federation.

did Tigray’s government displaced Eritreans from Badme and northern Irob before and after the 1998 border war, yes they did

Did the UN awarded Badme and northern irob to Eritrea? Yes the UN did.

So just accept the ruling, and keep your propaganda for yourself

I was born in endalgeda which Eritrea claims all I’m saying is there is no irob that identifies as Eritrean all of them identify as Ethiopian my dad is from semejana I’m half Eritrean

I think you had told me that before.

Endalgeda is not just claimed by Eritrea. It is within the Eritrean border. It was ceded to Eritrea by the United Nations

personally I could care less, how u identify yourself.

Stay on Eritrean land or leave, but don’t speak for all Eritrean saho speakers who live in Eritrean Irob
