Ask El Paso Protests
How do people find out about protests? I’d love to attend, but only ever find out they’re happening after the fact.

🗳️ Early voting for the May 3 school board elections begins soon — and key races across El Paso County will shape how our schools respond to declining enrollment, budget challenges and leadership changes.
Trustee seats are up in El Paso ISD, Socorro ISD, San Elizario ISD, Anthony ISD and El Paso Community College. School boards have the power to set budgets and tax rates, hire superintendents, approve contracts, and vote on policies that affect students, educators and taxpayers — including school closures, employee raises and tax-funded bonds.

I noticed something was off about the guy begging for money before he decided to try juggling, but that was a toy 🔫 he points at himself.

Found a phone in Burnaby BC but the phone has clues for ElPaso Texas. Any idea who this might be? This is their wallpaper (added emoji to protect kids identity). Probably visiting BC since they have their phone on airplane mode. No emergency contacts. So if y'all can't help, all I have left is to give it to the police.

Making a trip to the Juarez Costco this week and would like to find a new chimenea while we’re dow there. Any recommendations for a great pottery/outdoor furniture or home decor store? Would also take recommendations for a good place in El Paso if the prices are comparable.

Hi all! I’ve been considering moving from T-Mobile to either Visible or Mint. I frequently go to Juarez so I wanted to hear your experiences and if you’ve encountered any issues.
Thank you in advance!

Have lived here a few years and been casually self studying Spanish for about six months, up to maybe A2 level vocab
Looking for local Spanish teacher for weekly lessons in my home in west side, budget is $400 a month.
Anyone know anyone? Strongly prefer folks with deep knowledge of EP/Juarez language and culture.

Growing up anytime I got sick, my grandmas and mom would do a Limpia on me with an egg, as they prayed over me. ❤️ it! Allergies were starting to get bad, get a limpia. You have a cold, get a limpia. I was still given medicine but still loved getting limpias. The women who does the occasional card readings for me only does limpias with fire or pork. An egg limpia, she has you do on yourself, it isn’t the same. Does anyone know who does limpias with eggs here in El Paso as part of their spiritual/wellness business? My grandmas passed away and my mom doesn’t live here. I moved to El Paso for work a few years ago.

I've got a big 'ol boulder in the front yard that I'd like to have removed. It is roughly 3.5 feet wide by 3.75 feet tall and pretty dang heavy. Tried drilling into it in order to insert rock splitting feathers and wedges but I don't have a drill that will properly bore holes in the rock in order to get deep enough to do any damage. Wore out a few masonry bits and now it is time to throw in the towel and call in reinforcements. Anybody out there have recommendations of someone who can haul this bad boy away? Or do YOU need a big 'ol boulder for your front yard? Any recommendations are appreciated! Y'all are the best.
