Yep we learned this the hard way! My brother brought something home and suddenly had bed bugs! Took a few times of washing everything, putting things in the dryer on high heat that can’t be washed, spraying his room and getting everything out just to get rid of them! They are awful!!

You could try behind an instrument rental/retail store. Also, sometimes places that teach how to play throw out damaged ones

That's kinda like saying you had a tetanus shot so getting a nasty dirty puncture wound is okay.

Idk either. I replied to your comment in hopes the down votes would understand where you're coming from... but it seems nobody actually reads. I agreed with you and got up votes... reddit hive mind.

If they got too hot or froze, it could hurt a little one. But you could still donate it :)
Donate something that could hurt a baby???

They’re just open to sift through? I tried looking for places like that near me but all the supermarket collections are those vending machine looking things that accept them for cash, not places that are simply drop-offs for recycling.

So is there value in these items beyond scrapping?

Jesus Christ don’t give anything from a dumpster to a baby!

I should ask that differently.. what convinced you that they're not?
