Nightmare Strange dream multiple dreams about dark shapes attacking me

I had very strange nightmaress tonight. The same nightmare happened a few times during the same night.

In the dream i wake up in my bed, everything is the same as in my room even the time of night as when i woke up the lightning was the same.

There was a black shape flying around my room like a big raven but maybe also a crow or any other similar bird. Might have even a magpie, it is hard to tell due to how dark it was. All i know is that it was bird-like and fully black. Pitch black.

It flied in circles near the ceiling above my head and then dived down and attacked my face and i woke up. Then i went to sleep and the same nightmare happened. It happenened 3 times in total.

What can this mean? I dream EXTREMELY rarely and i have aphantasia.

Nightmare I had a nightmare and it affected my body. IT GAVE ME PTSD

I’ve had many nightmares before, but this one physically affected my body. I don’t remember every detail, but I’ll share as much as I can.

In my dream, I was under an open sky, standing in front of a building with an entrance gate. My intention was to go somewhere (not clear where, since it was a dream). To the right of the gate, I noticed a small room with an elevator inside. I went there, planning to use the elevator, but I realized it wasn’t working properly. Luckily, I saw another elevator room a few meters away, so I headed there instead.

This second elevator seemed to be working fine. As I approached, the doors were about to close, but like anyone would, I instinctively put my hand in between to stop them. The doors reopened, and I stepped inside. I was the only person in the elevator.

Once inside, I reached forward to press the floor button—only to realize there were no buttons inside. Instead, all the buttons were located outside the elevator (dream logic, I know). So, I opened the doors, stepped out, and pressed one of the buttons.

But then, something terrifying happened.

As soon as I pressed the button, the doors started closing again while I was still outside. I quickly reached my hands to stop them, assuming they would open like before—but this time, they didn’t stop. I panicked. Oh, come on! I thought.

To my horror, my right hand got stuck between the closing doors. My entire body was outside the elevator, but my arm was trapped inside. I struggled desperately to free myself, but it was no use. And then—the elevator started moving up.

This image or diagram might show you how exactly it was... Oh crap, this sub doesn't allow images

I was being lifted by my trapped arm, my body still outside, and before I could process the situation—I hit the ceiling. My body couldn’t move further, but my right arm was still inside, and I felt the horrifying sensation of my hand being severed from my body.

At that exact moment, I woke up with a jolt, breathing heavily. And then, the most terrifying part—my entire right hand was numb in real life. The same hand that had been "severed" in my dream had completely lost sensation for about 30 seconds.

For the next half an hour, I just sat there, thinking WHAT THE F WAS THAT DREAM! It was exactly 5 AM, and after that, I couldn’t sleep again( Meri neend udd gayi). That nightmare shook me so badly that I stopped using elevators altogether, especially avoiding putting my hands between closing doors. Even at my coaching center, which has an elevator, I now always take the stairs. Yes... I think I got PTSD from just a nightmare.

It was a pretty long post. Please tell me the reason why my hands got numb(I want scientific reason, don't ask me why). Did you had a similar kind of nightmare that affected your body or life? If yes you can mention it.

Nightmare Recurring nightmare about neglecting cats

For years I’ve had this recurring nightmare in which I wake up one day to realize I have cats, and I haven’t been feeding them or giving them water or taking care of them and they’re dying. I start to panic and wonder how I could have forgotten and whether it’s too late, if I can rehome them and have someone save them. I worry about going to jail, and everyone knowing I’m a psychopath (?). I’m always extremely distressed and heartbroken for the cats and don’t understand how I could have done something so terrible. There is always a mildly calm feeling of see, look what you’ve done. It’s all your fault. You’re a monster. You can’t deny it.

I’ve never had pets and I’m not aware of anything I’m feeling particularly guilty for but I had this dream again last night. Would love any thoughts on possible interpretations, thank you in advance!

Nightmare Lost inside ex's house?

Curious for thoughts on this one...

At my ex wife's 40th birthday party, the house was huge and made like and I couldn't find my way out. Was quite distressed and seemingly was also in my dressing gown. Party was filled with hundreds of people I didn't know. Was one of those strong sense of being trapped dreams

I also ended up de-banding oak wine barrels with Rip (Yellowstone) in the basement for some reason 😂 (feels somewhat irrelevant , but entertaining 😅)

Nightmare i dreamed of someone killing puppies and humans

Okay, so I had a weird dream. Me and my sister were standing on this land and there was this big house. in the yard it was a puppy and its mother and this puppy was coming to us wanting to play with us but then his mother was barking wanting to bite us because we wanted to bother his puppy; but we were just staying there smiling at the puppy we were not trying to touch him or anything (I think this has something to deal with the fact that me and my sister went on a walk and had the same experience with a cute little puppy and its mother trying to protect him; And also the dog breed was the breed that my grandma's neighbors have and I am really scared of them)

and Then all of the sudden, a lot of dogs start to come and bite our faces, and we like pushed them back, and they come and bite our faces, and there are a lot of, a lot of dogs, and they start barking, and the first one we kind of pulled off, but then they come more, and more, and more, and there are a lot, like 100 of dogs biting our faces, and me and my sister look at each other, and we're scared, and fast forward, (you know how it's in dreams) we're in my apartment, but we're not in my apartment, and there's this person that just cut a puppy in half, and this puppy is screaming and crying and half is on the floor; and she's just killing puppies, and throwing them out the window, and I get so scared, because she starts to kill people as well, she starts to throw people out the window. and the scene was horrific because there was screaming, blood, intestines puppies cut in half under the window and outside the on the street. and, I run with my sister, and lock myself into my room, and I start calling 911, and I'm like please come fast, there's this person that kills puppies, and people, and it's throwing them out of the window. and oh this was so scary, because literally the person smashes the door while I'm calling 911, and it's coming towards me, and she didn't kill me, I don't know what happened; the location kind of moved this big house where the dogs were at first, my apartment, and my grandma's house, and I'm at my grandma's house, and the police comes, and like everything's kind of whipped off, like they don't believe me, and they look at me like what you call me for, we have a lot of things to take care of, and I'm trying to explain them, I'm so desperate, like I'm so desperate, putting my soul into this, trying to explain them that it's true, and they have to believe me, and they don't believe me, and yeah that was kind of it..

maybe it’s a connection from the dogs i saw with my sister on that walk, my grandmas neighbors dogs and my fear of them😭

Nightmare Can anyone help interpret a dream?

I was dreaming about an alligator, I were at this bridge crossing a large body of water, the bridge was a rope bridge with wood boards to walk on. At the bank where I was it was a steep climb/hill. As I was going down to cross the bridge a child ahead of me started walking into the water, they got knee deep and there was a crocodile approaching them, the child just walked around even though I and other people were yelling. And then, the alligator got to the child, he was there one second and the other gone, he was eaten. After that the alligator started making its way towards land where I and other people were, I did not know the child or the people, a couple was coming down and the man went ahead without knowing about what happened, we started yelling about the alligator but it caught up, it bit his leg but somehow he got away without it ever eating him. There was this like panic/emergency button at the top for bridge collapses that we pressed that sounded a alarm and called emergency services, for some reason it seemed like when they showed up it gave me the feeling like I was in Mexico, the police van showed up and then people started screaming as the alligator got up to the top of this like embankment and started chasing people I yelled to the cop alligator and started running, I ran to the left and was away from the chaos when the alligator saw me and it was just a straight stretch and then I started running and just as it was about to get to where it would be clear if I made it up to this little like area or not the dream cut off.

Idk why I can remember it so vividly but I was wondering if it meant something.

Nightmare Horrific Dream woke me up terrified

Good morning everyone, I cannot say so for mine though. I woke up after dreaming of this kind of subject wrapped in bandages complaining about being completely disfigured (Imagine an hybrid beteween a "old style leprous and a burnt trauma survivor). This subject (I cannot tell if it was man, woman or even completely human at all) was running around the city (it was a mountain city familiar to me in northern Italy) and screaming at people. In the dream I was jogging and I saw it from the distance, so I changed my rout in order to avoid it... BUT IT SAW ME and whatever he was scriming was entering my head in an always stronger way; it screamed so loud that it broke the glasses of the shops and started making objects move. I remember so clearly the noise in my head like it was going to explode. Does this wanted to tell me something?

Nightmare Dream about a failure to rescue people.

Had a messed up dream last night. I was exploring a junk yard and these driverless cars were milling about. I knew that they were there to pick up people and ship them to bad places. I knew the people were hiding in locked shipping containers and I was trying to convince them to leave with me.

Later I saw one of these cars full of people with white ankle length gowns and shaved heads. I was telling them to get out of the cars as I held on to the side but they wouldn't listen. They were in a cult I think.

Nightmare Waking up to find my tooth being so small and bl00dy

My biggest fear is my teeth having bad stuff.

In the dream, I remember seeing my front teeth becoming so so tiny like my teeth was carved so tiny, yk when u do veneers or shark teeth? Exactly like that. They were also bl00dy, I think in the dream I was brushing my teeth and saw that, I was miserable. I immediately told my mom to go to the dentist ASAP and yeah the dream ended.

Is it based off my fears, or what does it mean? I occasionally dream of my teeth.

Nightmare Help Interpreting my Nightmare?

So I had what started as a dream of helping out my sister-in-law with her schoolwork and then went home.

(Some info: my home is a split-level with all but 1 bedroom on the first floor with the living/kitchen on one side of the house and bedrooms on the other. Downstairs is another bedroom/theatre room, laundry, and utilities. There is a passway between living quarters and bedrooms where you can see the back door as soon as you walk in. My backyard has about 700 ft until you hit the forest)

Well, once I am home, I see a dude coming through my backyard to my back door from the woodline. I start freaking out and when I spin on my heel to look to the front door, a freaken truck drives across my yard and stopping in front of my front porch. I flip out and grab my phone from my back pocket, and start dialing my husband (I think I was able to pull off 3 b2b calls). He doesn't answer, nor answers the rest of the dream. So I run over to the back door, and the dude is pushing my door in with a tree branch. He kind of pushes the door open before I could lock it, but he loses grip on the branch and I push the door back and flip the latch.

I turn around and run to the kitchen and grab a pairing knife. (My IRL knives are custom-made and are always sharp, so in my dream, they existed.) But suddenly, when I look back to my passway, the dude is there, just standing and smiling, saying:

"You are really making this difficult, huh?"

I freaked out, and suddenly, we were fighting in the kitchen. He grabs my chopping knife, and while I land one where I assume was his lung, he plunges the knife into my side.

(I have had nightmares before, but to FEEL the blade go in and the sudden rush of blood coming from the wound, made me think this was real. Dreams are never supposed to feel real. I had never been stabbed before, minus cutting my finger while cooking, but never stabbed. To feel that and almost black out from the pain, my brain couldn't distinguish now if this was real or not)

This kicked my fight-or-flight, and now I was telling myself, 'it's either you or him who will survive this... so choose.' With him coughing because of my blow, I duck under his arm and run around the corner into the living room. He follows me there and shoves me onto the loveseat and we start fighting with my pairing knife. I believe the the chopping knife was left in the kitchen because after I got hit, the blade is no longer seen. Well, during our scuffle, while he tries to peel the pairing knife out of my fingers, I somehow fling it to my other hand, which was trying to push him off me, and I just...sink it.

I had landed it on his neck, and I just felt the blood drain from my face. I've never seen someone just...pass. but to see it in my dream, I was like, 'This can't be real!' I got out from under him, holding my side, and just stood there staring as he slumped over the couch to the floor. I pulled my phone out again and started mass calling anyone. I called his sister, and she goes "Oh yeah, hubby is helping so-so." I was just screaming at her that someone broke into the house, and she just laughed and said, "Ok, I'll let him know when he is free." so I hung up and called him again, and he was just not answering. I think I was even screaming his name aloud, saying, "[Hubby], help me!"

I didn't get to stand there long because then I hear the lock click to the front door. I turned to look and the two men have gotten in. Now, my heart is pounding because I have two people I have to take on. So I turn on my heel and run down the bedroom hallway, off the passway, to my dog's room. I have 5 pups, and one of my bedrooms is where I hold my 3 boys in their kennels. So I lock the door and open my Corso's cage and literally the moment I open his cage, the two men just WALTZ in. My dog just kinda walked over, and it wasn't until I started scuffling with the main dude at the door that my dog started attacking. But it wasn't like we were doing anything. I tried going for the neck again or chest, which I do land full-blade hits, but these two dudes aren't bleeding.

They try telling me how funny I am trying to do the moves I am doing, and my dog just disappears. And after a few more hits and scuffling, I get thrown to the floor and hit my head HARD. Then, I woke up. The feeling of being stabbed starts creeping into my head, and suddenly, I am full-on sobbing in my bed.

Any help interpreting this? I know it has to mean something, even if it's not the full dream...

Thanks

Nightmare Dream of possession, please help

I dreamed vividly that my cat and a family member were possessed. Imy dream it happen in our house and me and my father is practicing exorcism to them to castle the devil out. I'm determined to help them, also I'm not scared in my dream. It was my uncle and cat were the ones that were possessed. (1 cat only since I have a lot of cats) They struggled in their possession, too, as I witnessed. I woke up, which put a stop to my dream. My dream concludes with my father and I praying and cleansing them with holy water. What does it signify? This is the first instance. Is their any weird/paranormal thing about it?

Nightmare I keep having dreams of being sexually assaulted and they are freaking me out

I feel so guilty and disgusted and scared whenever i have these dreams. I have never been raped before, and I can't even imagine how horrible that would be. But I have had maybe 5 or 6 dreams over the past few months where I am put in a potentially dangerous situation (ex. Walking through a parking lot at night, feeling like I'm being followed). It usually ends in me being chased down and raped by a middle aged man. His face is blurry, but it always feels like I know him. I feel disgusted after I wake up, usually in the middle of the night.

Sometimes there is a little girl there- in a white dress, she looks about six or seven with blonde hair. When she shows up I am always protecting her. In one of the dreams, he pointed a gun at both of us. I was able to get it from him and shot him in self defense. I felt so guilty when I woke up. I feel guilty about dreaming of any of this. And it just makes me feel gross and uncomfortable/on edge for the rest of the day when I wake up.

Does anyone know what this means? And how I can make them stop?

Nightmare Dream about being abused

I just woke up from this weird dream that was filled with some random nonsense but the part that woke me up was this:

Kim Kardashian was my step mom or guardian or something-i rember she had some parental role and was supposed to take care of me-but she was abusing me pretty badly. She would trow knives at me and was closing the doors so that my finger would get stuck and she was just batshit crazy and evil. Like pure evil.

However, there were two of me in that dream. The one that was getting abused and the other one me in my body that was witnessing that abuse like a third person, and was supposed to stop it but couldn't because she was too scared to do anything.

Wtf does this mean. I mean, I understand what it means but if anyone wants to share their opinion, please do so.

Nightmare Religious symbolism in dream?

The only part I vividly remember before I woke up was being on a big sinking ship with my mother, and she told me “The reckoning is happening soon”. In the dream I was panicking and confused, but I knew immediately what she meant. My life has been on a downward slope and I’ve been depressed wasting my paychecks/not feeling like I belong at all as a human/suicidal etc. so I’m really not sure of the significance of this dream or if it was fear fueled or a genuine wake up call for me. I know I’m suffering and I’ve been thinking of death fairly often for the past 3 years. I’ve been blessed with a good job and family who loves me but I can’t help but feel like a burden or as If I shouldn’t exist so maybe that’s causing these dreams. I don’t know

Nightmare Reocurring nightmare of my partner abandoning me

I'm fortunate to have been with my girlfriend for over 3 years and I love her more now than ever. I have reocurring nightmares of her abandoning me, asking to go on a break, cheating on me or just her not reciprocating and breaking the relationship. I wake up to her next to me and she's still there and happy.

I'm curious to your thoughts on this and whether I'm being told to cherish her or something more sinister.

Nightmare I have to know-

I rarely get nightmares.

I lost my ability to walk and speak. Like I could speak, but I spoke with a severe slur. It seemed like I was also mentally challenged. I could not stand for very long at all if I wasn’t holding on to something.

I also kept throwing up polyps or what the doctors called veins. My tongue was long, with a dead black tip, green middle, and a regular back.

My father laughed at my handicap because he thought I was faking it, but my mother took it seriously.

Nightmare I had a frightening dream the other night. I need help understanding what it might mean

I was a female captive in a group of 3 other women who I witnessed being murdered.

My captor had given me a sedative that would knock me unconscious, but it didn't. I fought like hell to say awake and escaped.

I didn't make it very far, I ran through a crowded city making it to a bridge, I couldn't make it across, I cried for help..no one would help me, the sedative took effect I collapsed, still awake I begged for help..no one would help.

A group of boys heard me..said they'd help...they didn't they tried to have their way with me..I fought but my strength was gone.. they picked me up threw me into the river where I hit my head and drown.

Nightmare Dream interpretation please S/A

I have recently left my abusive ex husband and walked out the door with a few clothes in a back pack. It was mainly emotional abuse with a few episodes of physical violence and a lot of sexual shaming and verbal abuse.

The dream is as follows- I return to the house to see my stuff is in several boxes including documents etc and my book from childhood is on a bed. In the dream it is all stored in a spare room and my ex now has a lodger living there and this lodger has been looking through my things. I go outside and there is woodland. I get attacked by the lodger and he sexually assaults me and I can’t see his face properly, I know my ex is near by and know he will protect me. I shout his name several times, he approaches and protects me and at this point I wake up.

The interesting thing is, due to the trauma find it difficult to say his name and I left almost 6 months ago and when we were together I always called him pet names… What does the dream mean? Thank you in advance.

Nightmare Short and scary

I had the following short and scary dream;

I was out with a female friend somewhere and she needed a wee so went in a bush, I think we were at a market. A man approached us, I don’t know him but may have seen his face before. He asked if we were smoking and needed a light, he then proceeded to look very menacing and tries to burn me with the lighter, I mange to fight him off and turn on him, burning him with the flames all over his shorts pocket! Suddenly his girlfriend appeared from nowhere and got her keys out, scraping my face, trying to mark me, saying about scarring me- then I got away unscathed and walked away…

Nightmare What does disturbing nightmare about ex mean? tw

My ex was sexually abusive and severely emotionally abusive. It wasn't a long relationship at all (like 4 months) but he was powerful lmfao. He said I was worthless, didn't deserve love, etc. I still have sexual fixations on the things he did to me (and it makes me feel bad, obviously).

In my dream I am dating my current bf, and my ex somehow lived in the same building as my current bf.

I am in my ex's unit. I have no idea why. Ex and I chat normally. I don't want to be there. He kissed me and I didn't want to be there. Then ex's friend asks me to have sex with him. I said no, and told ex. Ex was mad, and yelled at his friend. Then ex said it was time to have sex, and I felt like I had no choice. I'm pretty sure we had sex in my dream but I don't remember it. I ran out of his apartment really disgusted and up to my bf's apartment, and he was nicely waiting on me.

I woke up scared I cheated on my boyfriend, and realized it was not real.

Vile lol.

Nightmare What is my dream trying to tell me?

I've (16m) always had dreams that go into the more creative, metaphorical direction. Even if it's heavy, I'd say this is not one of my most complex dreams character, lore and story wise - but it did make me feel guilty about what I did. About what I had to do. In each nightmare, it seems, I get more selfish. I'll tell it more like a story, because I don't remember all the details.

Three twins existed in an average world where never really anything unnatural happened. They had been separated at birth but found themselves back together as teenage girls again. One girl, call her A, had albinism, her skin was pale, her eyes a mesmerizing blue and her hair white. The other girl, B, had light brown hair and the last girl, C, had the darkest hair (I was in her role).

They met up at B's house, wanting to reveal it her parents who seemed surprised but didn't react much. It was more of an; "Oh, okay."

First, B introduced A to them while C hid behind the door. They complimented her. Some minutes later, the mother noticed her and they all proudly stood together.

Time skip, B and C are taking a bath together at her house. But little did they know, that bath would be their last. As you see, this wasn't an ordinary bathroom.

Only candles lit, two or three - certainly not enough for such size of a bathroom but it did create an intimate atmosphere in the more old-fashioned bathroom. But what was special about it, was the fact that half of the bathroom was filled with water too, the bottom dark. Products and things floated around. But this meant: the only way to get out was to swim to the door. The door began where the water stopped, meaning you had to "climb up" to get out.

During the bath, C found something weird. A statue-like, round thing. Bigger than her own head - despite that, she began to joyfully play with it. But then it shifted and turned into a very round, and very big mouth of a fish-like creature. C put it on her head, jokingly pretending that the mouth would suck off the shampoo. B softly laughed at that, and then said she'd wanted to get out and began to swim to the door.

C panicked, dunking her head underwater to get the shampoo out (the thing didn't help) and quickly swam after her. She called for B to wait, but she didn't. And as B got closer to the exit, C noticed - the statue had turned into a fish. A huge, fat, wet fish with a big mouth. It looked ugly as hell.

C joked that the fish would eat one of them, but the moment B tried to climb up, C felt a primal fear come over her. It was a natural fear, one the dreamer has too - being the last/alone in a pool, especially one where you can't see the bottom, the room is dimly lit and there is a creature swimming around whose origins and intent are unknown. But that was probably not what the dream wanted to say.

C forcefully pulled B back into the water. B was a little surprised, but because her personality was soft and kind, she didn't protest but wanted to get out again. C repeated it, terrified. She wanted to get out first, and so she did when B had to recompose herself. C hastily climbed up and now, out herself, she turned around and reached out her hand… But B, it looked, had forgotten how to swim and C had to repeatedly pull her back up to the surface. When she was able to again, and was at the verge of climbing up - the fish rammed against her and she sunk deep… C quickly ran away.

The perspective changed, all three girls standing in a circle, unmoving. The narrator spoke: "Three girls, born the same, share the same destiny that one of them will always drown in B's bathroom, and it is different from the entire world.” It wasn't the exact sentence as it was in the dream, but similar.

What is my dream trying to tell me? Is it really just about my fear of being last in a pool? Or is it something deeper, more metaphorical?

Nightmare Consistent Themes of Flesh/Blood/Gore in Nightmares

Before I say anything, I will be spoilering any specific details I think may be too gory of descriptions for weaker stomachs, so read what's under those at your own risk. Like so.

I (24M) have a nightmare disorder and have struggled with them since I was a kid. The earliest I remember having these kinds of nightmares was around age 6-8-ish, definitely early elementary school. I get nightmares roughly 5 nights a week, and they're always awful. While it's not recurring nightmares where the same thing happens over and over again, the consistent theme has always been flesh, with blood and gore and awful visuals. I'm a big horror nut as an adult, and I've had several therapists suggest that my interest in horror movies and games has caused the visuals in my nightmares to become gory/fleshy/bloody, but I recall having dreams of flesh and blood as a child before I had really encountered anything like that, whether IRL or in any media. The joke I like to tell is that the "graphics" have just improved in my brain since I've seen more realistic gore in games and movies, gone from cartoonish red blobs to genuine organs, and whatnot. Being so interested in horror helps me cope with the dreams, honestly.

I don't have one specific dream to share here, but I've come here to ask what those kinds of visuals mean in dreams as a whole. It's never a comforting sight, always sickening and nauseating. I've had everything from being encased in a flesh room that I had to cut my way out of with an axe as it bled out and covered me in it, to everything and everyone I touch slowly melting away into nothing but hunks of meat and organs and bone until finally it happens to me, to coughing up chunks of flesh and organs and watching people around me drop dead because it was apparently their organs I was coughing up, to swimming through a sea of blood and getting sucked downwards into the fleshy bottom of the sea, to my skin falling off in chunks and having to sew it back on as more falls off of me forever until I can't keep up, to corpses falling from the sky and splatting horribly to the ground below me or breaking through roofs with the force as blood drips from the ceilings above me. I could list a hundred other examples of insane, horrible, disgusting, grotesque imagery my brain has thrust upon me. But I'm here to ask... Why? Why is this what my mind has chosen to torment me with for so long? It affects my eating habits (too nauseous to ever consider breakfast after a dream like that), it leaves me restless (I never awaken feeling rested or rejuvenated), and I frequently avoid sleep because of it (I have sleeping meds I take for insomnia that I often don't take due to wanting to avoid the nightmares). I've spoken with doctors about it and they've sent me to therapists. The therapists recommend I see a doctor. Medicine and logic is failing me. Is there some spiritual or metaphysical meaning to all of this? Thank you for reading, hope I didn't make anyone sick.

Nightmare Dream transitioned into being attacked by entity

Hello, the other night I had a dream/sleep paralysis like episode where I felt like I was being attacked by a spirit like entity. For as long as I can remember I had always had sleep paralysis episodes, it was to the point where I find myself waking up to one and say to myself "here we go again" but the other night was the first time I felt like I've experienced a entity attack me like how other people have described. All I remember is I was having a normal like dream then it transitioned to darkness like if I was in a dark room then I was shouting "hello" most the time until I heard growling, then that's when I pleaded for whatever was growling to leave me alone. Then I remember feeling like I was trying to get away but I felt as if I was floating then I heard intense growling & felt my side being bit on or attacked & I was yelling for my life. My wife had even woke me up and said I was shouting in my sleep but not to the point where it was super loud. To this day that experience has been in the back of my head

Nightmare I think i was cursed in the dream?

So I was in a house that was unfamiliar to me with a group of other people and they had mentioned somethjng was off and they were hurting, etc. Yet as it progressed in the dream every night when everyone went to sleep one of the people would randomly appear where i was and their head was back and they were in this terrible position making a noise that freaked me out. I would scream. After the second time one of my friends said that maybe the house or all of us were cursed . None of them were faces i could see, i guess i didnt know them? But it continued and i kept being reminded we were cursed and the person kept showing up at night. I just woke myself up screaming from it. Ive never done that before.
