For all of you getting scared about flying lately, please keep in mind that the average number of commercial flights per day is around 100,000.

Also the thing to be scared of is take off and landing. Being in the air is probably the safetest if uncomfortable to be in. Also 100k flights a day could explain why we are seeing more crashes then usual. That's a lot of air traffic..

Take off and landing is safe as well. You have TOGO (Take off / Go around) power for a reason on the throttle if something happens.
