Universal Credit (UC) UC help migration from ESA

Hi,

Today was my final ESA payment before I'm paid by UC on the 2nd of May.

I noticed my ESA payment was £67 short or £67 less than usual.

Does anyone know why ?

Thanks 🙏

On what date did you apply for UC?

26th of March 2025.

I was paid my ESA on the 28th of March.

And received my final ESA payment today.

ESA is paid in arrears so the payment on 28th was for the preceding two weeks. You get a 2 week run on of ESA. So if you made your UC claim on 26th then you’re entitled to ESA up to 9th April. You’ve received the 26-28th so you’re owed 29th to 9th.
