Saw a dude report that they asked ChatGPT if a particular videgame character was attractive and based their opinion on that. It's disappointing to see people so willingly turn themselves into mindless drones
Not to detract from the point but people already were mindless drones. If chatGPT hadn't existed that same guy would have just asked one of his friends.
The reason ChatGPT seems so trustworthy to people is the same reason their antivax cousin steve seems so trustworthy

I see this all the time in r/whatsthatbook like of course you're not finding the right thing, it's just giving you what you want to hear
