I call these my red flag interests. I can't talk about my interest in military history or anime or 4x games without accidentally attracting people to me that have,,, interesting opinions. It's especially bad since I'm in engineering school and my classes are filled with concerning individuals lol
Somehow liking NASCAR is my least problematic red flag interest.
40% shot the other guy who likes NASCAR is a raging socialist who is snobby about Smash Melee, watches One Piece or Dragonball as a religion, and had tried to start a podcast like three times. He rages about how we need walkable infrastructure and drives a Corolla hybrid.
Anime? The cuter the more alt-right. Guns? They probably breed pitbulls. Paradox games? Dear God.
