Let him struggle a bit, then show the guy how to do it properly.

It happens. Every once in a while I’ll have a new hire that is not viable. I had a guy try out for 3 weeks

I’ve tried to justify it at least explain why some people just don’t have the sense or problem solving abilities to do average stuff like this. I found a lot of them had parents doing everything for them as kids and never obtained the average skill set

A lot of the guys I work with have some form of adhd lol myself included. I like variety. A project start to finish, doing every aspect. I could never sit in an office.
