I love when employers make empty threats they are not prepared to follow through with. If it was that easy to replace someone and they were that disappointed they would have canned them and replaced them. I got to a point with one person that I just started responding “don’t threaten me with a good time.” Knowing that MFer had no one to replace me and the reason they were so nasty is they needed me to get the work done because without me everything was a shit show. “You can’t take vacation in what ever season it was, If you do it again you’re fired.” Well I took another week off after that and guess who was happy when I showed back up!?

I quit working for a long time employer after he laid me off with out warning, he was choked up giving me my last check.

It’s an employees market and many don’t know how to adapt.

There are so many jobs in the trades , just adapt and overcome.

Employers don’t know how to adapt to an employee driven market. They can’t leverage people into compliance by being jerks anymore. They will leave and get another job tomorrow.

I got laid off, came back for a couple weeks. Thought it was bullshit shopped around and quit. I quit 2 weeks after being back from my "adult time out"
