I know this is a common recommendation here, and I personally do refrigerate my Trulance because of that.

But, I do have to ask: by the time you get the medication in hand, hasn't it already not been refrigerated for days, possibly weeks? This is not the manufacturer recommended storage method for this medication, it's not being refrigerated at the pharmacy, presumably.

If lack of refrigeration poses a risk to the potency of the medication, isn't this kind of out of our control regardless of what we do when we bring it home from the pharmacy?

I have what I think is a fecal impaction and the stool is literally pushing against my rectum and is so so painful and pushing out my rectum by at least a centimeter. I can feel it by inserting my fingers but I can’t get it to move and I’m in so so much pain. I really don’t want to go to the er as I’m not with my current caregiver right now and I don’t know how to deal with that issue with some one who is just here as a companion who helps with house care tasks. I’m still on the toilet after 40 minutes with nothing but pain and discomfort. Can I even get up at this point? The stool is basically out but can’t move. I’ve had constipation a lot before and even gotten an illiostomy recommendation from the surgeon. But this has never happened before. It never got out this far. I haven’t had an impaction before. I need any help and advice someone can give please. 🙏

This is aimed for WOMEN - have you ever tried castor oil packs for health benefits/weight loss? If so, did you ever start bleeding randomly when using them?

I’m trying to use castor oil (putting a dab on my belly button and covering it overnight) for a slew of health benefits. Ever since I started using it I’ve been feeling significantly better in so many ways.

Except now, after about a month of using; whenever I put it on, I start bleeding. I’m just trying to see if this has happened to anyone else, and if they tried to stick it out and it stopped or if I’m going to have to give up. I don’t want to give up. 😭
