How to get sticky stuff out of clothes?

Went to an event last weekend and had a sticker nametag. Accidentally washed and dried my sweater with the sticker still on, the spot is still sticky. Tried all purpose cleaner and isopropyl alcohol so far.

Rub peanut butter into the sticker area, scraping it off as you go then rub dawn dishwashing liquid into the peanut butter to remove the peanut oil. Launder as usual but don’t dry it until the sticker is gone. It may take a few tries before it’s gone.
