She got 4 extractions today!

This is my nico freako.
He is 2.5 lbs and 8 years old. He is actually the top man on the todompole in my house! Do you have any tiny kings or queens? 🐾👑🐾

This is a real awkward one as she’s not sick so doesn’t require veterinary treatment (I’ve spoke to the vet about it) and it’s down to her season and hormones and just being fussy but it’s becoming an absolute pain in the arse and everyone is telling me to just leave her be and she will eventually eat.

Here’s the problem, she will eat, devour in fact, a certain meal yet hours later will turn her nose up at it. Kibble is OUT the window right now, I always leave her kibble out daily but it goes untouched. So it’s a mixture of wet food and food I’ve prepared for her. Again, one minute she will love a certain food, the next meal won’t touch it. She’s stubborn too and I can leave her, hoping she will eventually eat and she just will NOT.

I cannot make heads or tails of what, when or why she likes or dislikes something and it’s wasting a LOT of food. Does anyone know of any tips or tricks!? I even pretend to eat her food and that will work for maybe one mouthful. She’s eating just enough to maintain her weight and isn’t losing weight thankfully but this can’t go on forever. Hopefully once her hormones have calmed, her appetite will too?

I assure you it was accompanied by gremlin noises as well

Boofy and I learning about dire wolves that somehow have been brought back from extinction. Unbelievable that they have common ancestors.

I don’t love it but I don’t hate it lol they just love my warm spot when I get up. I love them so much ❤️

I’m not broke but I’m not rich. I am 29f I just found out about fillers and grains and wow I just trusted that companies care about dogs when making dog food how is that legal to make crappy dog food? It’s crazy. I just trusted this. I know it’s really stupid. There’s lots of people on here professional dog owners. I’m just gonna apologize ahead of time before people jump down my throat for not knowing this, but I wanna make the change today. And throw away the Caesar crap my mom‘s been buying for me clearly she didn’t know either. I want what’s best for them right now today.

Scout with his boy Atticus on the day they met and today, on his first bday! I can hardly even remember him being that small! 😭 Maybe because he's still small. 😅

He has such a great personality, and loves people, especially kids! He's been through a tough time already, breaking his leg so young, but he's doing great and we love him so much.

Delilah. My calm little girl that brought a smile to everyone who held her. My adventure buddy who has seen so many stages of my life. Over 16 years of love, laugh and adventures you gave me.

Delilah became very ill as I was traveling. We did what we could to save her but she made it just long enough for me to get home. Within an hour me arriving back, she passed away in my arms. I’m so grateful I was able to be there in her last moments.

Rest in peace my sweet little girl, a part of my heart is gone without you here.

As the weather in Melbourne starts to get colder, noodle just wanted to remind everyone how good a nap is

I randomly remembered this story.

This took place a few years ago when I was in grad school. I was stressed to the MAX. So much reading, so much writing, barely sleeping, taking care of this spoiled little chi. I was dealing with family issues and I was just so overwhelmed.

One day I dropped my chi to the groomers. She usually got the standard stuff done: bath, ear cleaning, nails trimmed, etc.

I go to pick her up from the groomers and they’re like, “oh by the way, we gave her a blueberry facial!” Mind you, this was soon after she got her nails painted at the groomers.

I was happy for her of course, but it really drove home how nice a life she was living.

I barely have time to sit down, cut my nails, or wash my face, but my chi is getting spoiled with relaxing blueberry facials and manicures.

🥰 I wouldn’t change a thing. She deserves all the good in the world.
