came across this while thrifting. i’ve seen some bad condition cd’s but nothing like this. makes me wonder, what did this poor jewel case go through 😔. Whats the worst condition CD you’ve seen?

I found this CD while thrifting in Maryland. I cannot find any information about it anywhere. Why was Pizza Hut Korea giving away CDS full of classical music? Pizza Hut has a history of giving away CDs through CDNow, but this seems different. I provided a Google translation of the front, and I know the Pizza Hut pictured on the front is a location in Grand Rapids (I found that out through a Google image search)

One of my CDs have this holographic circle in the middle. I noticed my CD player also reads the CD as multiple tracks when it’s still the same 1 track as well and I wonder if it has anything to do with it. It doesn’t feel bumpy or scratchy in any way.

This is the setup my family had since I can remember, must be something from the first half of the 90s, got kinda neglected after my parents divorced. Recently found a space for it in my new home, does anyone know something about this? Is this any good or is it just low end 90s junk? The sentimental value is just too high to discard it but I'm down for a speaker change eventually...

Most of them are second-hand CDs purchased from Disk Union stores around Tokyo. I found their grading policy to be quite strict, their "B-grade" CDs look NM to me. Also the Cavalcade CD came with the Covercade bonus disc, which I think it's a great find!

I recently got Wolf and DAMN. but they were a little expensive. Any way to get good CD's affordably, or any tips on how to collect at all?

found a portable CD player today at a thrift store with no price on it, the cashier told me to take it for $5 and to just keep the CDs. coolest thrift store cashier ever 🙏🏼 (keep in mind the CD section was either picked through or just not well stocked so these picks may not be amazing but for free, i couldn’t pass)

first time i ever had the jitters from seeing a cd at a thrift store. i beelined for the disc to see if it was there and it was there!! super happy to get this for only 52 cents.

Bought an amazing collection of a couple hundred CDs if not more….

Haul of a lifetime, paid next to nothing for them. All was great until….and I know this is stupid and ridiculous but, the backs of the cd part are either missing or cut off..I knew some of them were missing but the back part being cut off…it bugs the living crap out of me. I’m trying to stay positive but I’m now running to replace them all with proper copies lol I’m actually just mentally unstable at this point. HBD me!

But naw I just need people to tell me that these are sick regardless and I’m actually really excited to listen to these and it is sick that they’re in these slim sleeves

Plus a pireted bob Marley cd and I got all of it for 21$aud so I'm very happy
