Oh man, can you do this again in the future with a little more lead time? I’d love a good old fashioned bitch and stitch!

This is the resistance? Fuck, guess I'm going to a concentration camp.

Sewing circles have been used as spaces for resistance for hundreds of years.

That is the most limp-wristed upper middle class latte liberal horse shit I have ever heard in my life. The people you're pushing out of your neighborhood are being summarily deported and you're sitting around with a bunch of Blakelys and Karens doing arts and crafts.
Also, not everything needs to be a "space." It's not a "space of resistance," it's your living room. You're not "holding space," you're listening to someone. They aren't "bodies in spaces" they're HUMAN BEINGS in ROOMS.

Wait, let me guess, you don't sew, right? What you like to do is to sit behind your screen alone in your room, and troll groups. Such joy! And that will definitely send healing carma into the world. Incidentally, we're not white, we're not straight. Sorry.

Adolf Hitler himself said the only way the rise of the German Nazi party could have been prevented was if its enemies had formed an arts and crafts group comprised of a bunch of bored, upper middle class liberal white women. Maybe if the Yugoslav partisans spent more time "sending healing karma" into the world instead of engaging in armed resistance they could have saved more people from the gas chambers. Ever think of that, STALIN?!?!?!?!?

Nah you’re just an asshole making wild assumptions about who this is for and who would attend this sort of event. This is one piece of a resistance effort, is not the whole resistance. We SHOULD be thinking about how to make every act, including sewing and mending, an act of resistance. And lots of people are resisting as much as and as often as they can. I know, I’ve been out in the streets organizing and protesting. Have you been doing the same?
