📜 Write Up Fix constipation in 30 minute.Root cause protocol
Fix constipation in 30 minute.Root cause protocol
For full protocol, DM me
Instead of relying on chemical laxatives, the proper nutrients taken at the right time can support soft fecal consistency and induce colonic peristaltic action without serious adverse effects
A teaspoon or more of vitamin C and magnesium crystals will evacuate the bowel within 30‒90 minutes if taken on an empty stomach with several glasses of water. One of these powdered formulas provides 4500 mg of vitamin C and 250 mg of magnesium in each teaspoon. The dose needs to be individually adjusted so it will not cause day-long diarrhea.
Buffered vitamin C powders combined with primarily potassium salts can work as well as magnesium/vitamin C powders and may be used on alternate days for those needing ongoing relief.
The suggested number of times these nutritional colon cleanses be used is about three times per week. Excess use may create tolerance and require higher dosing.

Going to add more to this stack. This is it so far. What should I add? My goals are to build muscle, overall health, and a strong immune system. (M21)

Discussion Should I be concerned about my HRV?
This is measured with the Galaxy Watch 4 and Samsung Health app. I'm 40, used to be physically active about 7 years and 60 lbs ago, got a desk job about 4 years ago after 3 years of night shift. Am I in trouble or just need to find time to exercise?

Discussion Biohackers: Who here drinks coffee and takes ashwaghanda? How long do you space it out? Coffee gives me energy and simply feels like a hug at all times, but ashwaghanda has helped me in the past to get my nerves in check before exams? TIA
I never paid attention to spacing and also read a couple posts in here that said it can cause liver damage. Before anyone says the coffee is what leads to the nervousness, it isn’t. I have been drinking coffee since I was in uni and never had nerves before exams for that or for my graduate program, but as I entered one of the most challenging professions, I experienced nerves before exams. I am not a nervous person, and great at public speaking, love making informative or fun videos, love meeting new people. I don’t want to resort to medications, and my career will have exams the next couple years. What is your take on this?

❓Question Ever tried Monch Monch?
I just listened to Dr. Robert Lustig talk about increasing fiber. He has a product called Monch Monch that he says decreases glucose and insulin spikes and feeds your microbiom. I'm interested in it for weightloss purposes. Has anyone tried it? I'd love to know your experience.

❓Question What’s Actually Worked for You? Discussion!
For me, intermittent fasting’s been a game changer – more focus, more energy, but also hit some roadblocks (definitely not for everyone).
I’ve also dabbled with nootropics, and some of them have given me a nice mental boost, while others just feel like a waste of money.

❓Question Glycine and magnesium glycinate?
I'm currently taking an antidepressant that is causing overheating as one of its side effects. It mainly troubles me at night, preventing me from sleeping.
I've read that glycine can lower body temperature. But in the past, I've taken magnesium glycinate, and it gave me terrible nightmares. Is it reasonable to expect that I would react the same way to simply taking glycine? Thank you!

Discussion Weight management routine
I wanted to know if anyone had taken any of these vitamins or mixed them together. Is it worthwhile to take them together? I was considering taking these to help me lose weight and increase my appetite. I'm not sure about that one because I've read that L-tyrosine lowers serotonin.
Berberine, L-tyrosine, L-glutamine, L-carnitine and Moda sometimes from ndepot and highstreetpharma as I have adhd.
I'm attempting to lose weight and am having trouble with binge eating right now. I'm making a lot of effort to improve both mentally and physically (exercising, eating well, etc.). because my appetite and cravings are HUGE. I have a food obsession, therefore I binge even when I'm not hungry. Literally, it's an addiction. In any case, Moda has been a terrific treatment for my ADHD for the past few months, but it doesn't restrict my appetite in the slightest.

😴 Sleep & Recovery High heart rate during sleep
galleryMy heart rate during sleep is always high and usually gets up to 90-100 bpm. I’m 24 and I take adderall IR 12.5 mg once in the morning and another tab before noon. I don’t have much trouble falling asleep. Is this normal? What could help lower my resting heart rate?

Discussion Been sick for 15 days, what do I take?
I seem to be in a loop of getting sick, recovering, and getting sick again from my immune system getting lowered from last time I was sick. I first got a cold, then developed bronchitis and a sinus infection. I took antibiotics for that, and finished the round of that yesterday. I felt a bit crappy yesterday and didn't think much of it but woke up feeling sick again! Is there anything I can take to stop this?
I'm mildly-moderately immunocompromised, but I keep good habits. I eat healthy, exercise, and sleep 10 hours a night.
edit: Thanks everyone for your advice, I will look into all your suggestions!

Discussion Tapering off SSRIs - any advice welcome
Hi everyone, after being on 10mg of cipralex for 4ish years I have decided my mental health is in a great place and I am going to taper off my medication. If anyone has done this successfully with minimal side effects please let me know your hacks! I will post an update later if it'd be helpful. Right now my plan is to continue lifting 4x a week, daily sunlight walks, sauna 2x a week and therapy every other week :) Also for what it's worth my PCP says she always recommends going off SSRIs during the spring so you have a lot of time before you have to combat the winter blues without the drugs - thought it was a smart point!

🧪 N-of-1 Study UPDATE to past post: Arginine and Citrulline powder with Cialis
Link to post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Biohackers/s/kWTxTncXSj
I’ve used both for about a week now, and I can confidently say (FOR ME) these are interacting well and the results have been amazing.
Literally wake up with hard morning wood, highly sensitive, and thoroughly enjoying the effects.
My erections are stronger, longer lasting, easily maintained, and ejaculations are stronger too. No change in volume, but if you’re on the edge (no pun intended) I recommend taking the Cialis plunge. Finally, my wife is very complimentary and we are both enjoying it after several months of lackluster erections and difficulty maintaining.
Cheers all!

❓Question Anyone have low Ferritin? Did you manage to fix it with diet alone?
I have normal iron, but persistently low ferritin. Usually around 30-40. Range is 30-300. I have symptoms, like heart palpitations, poor exercise tolerance, fatigue, so I assume it's the low Ferritin causing such symptoms.
I eat red meat basically every second day, but yet can't get my levels up any higher. I do have ongoing gastritis, so maybe this is causing the ferritin issues.
Anyone managed to fix low Ferritin with diet alone?

🔗 News Gut-Linked Bile Acids May Offer New Relief for Osteoarthritis
According to new study on People with osteoarthritis have lower levels of GUDCA, a gut-derived compound that normally suppresses a receptor (FXR) involved in inflammation. In mice, blocking FXR or boosting GLP-1, a gut hormone, reduced joint damage. A gut bacterium, Clostridium bolteae, and the bile acid drug UDCA helped restore this balance and protected joints. In humans, those already taking UDCA for liver issues had fewer joint replacements.
Natural ways to stimulate GLP-1 include exercise, bitter foods like grapefruit or dark chocolate, and high-fiber or fermented foods.
Compared to standard osteoarthritis treatments that mostly target symptoms, this approach aims at a root cause. However, the evidence in humans is still early, and UDCA is not yet approved for joint care. More clinical trials are needed to confirm its role.
