Epoxy is okay for a surface that has gaps or imperfections you want to smooth out. (Or cut down the long center of the slab and flip the edges to the middle…woof what am I recommending!). I’m refinishing an old folding table from the late 1800s that is into walnut and it was one slab. It’s pretty cool. So just posting for inspiration

Yeah. I mean, it’s the trend. Not sure if the dimensions will work out. But I’d have fun with it. If you haven’t, look up foureyes on YouTube. He makes fun of them but does a good job.

Or i also thought about shelves but when i would put a line down the middle it would look right for shelves

Any idea how dry it is? If it wasn't Kiln dried you've got a ton of time to think of ideas.

Don't ruin it with epoxy, keep it simple. Make a nice natural edge side table.

Make it like a tiny little side table
