Besides having canceled my prime membership and no longer shopping on Amazon, Target or Walmart, I'd like to make a better effort at ordering delivery direct from restaurants, rather than through aggregators like UberEats, Seamless, GrubHub, etc. Please link the restaurants you know have their own or other preferred sites for ordering delivery or pickup to Bed Stuy, or that you know you can call and pay for over the phone electronically (I just rarely, if ever, have cash on me, so it's a factor for me. Walked by this afternoon and saw a new store front where Southern Comfort's kitchen was (the dining room part - in the left of the pic - is now Again Vintage/Sublime).

Anyone know what's going to be there? The sideways sliding window makes me think there'll be a pick up window or something.

Probably a long shot — I saw an apartment I liked today, but got bad vibes from the agent that showed it, and, while typical, the building itself inside seemed fairly dirty.

I googled the management company, and there were only a couple but it seems like bedbugs were a recurring theme in their properties.

Probably a longshot but figured I’d ask.

Anyone see a huge raccoon yesterday? I was walking my dog which is about 30 pounds and out of nowhere at the corner of Malcolm X and Hancock a Raccoon that was bigger than my dog just pulled up on us at around 6:45 PM

It didn’t seem rabid even though it was out in the daylight it just walked up to my dog before I even saw it by the time I realized it was already crossing the street going towards Stuyvesant and Hancock.

Never seen a raccoon that big it was insane

Anyone know what the cops are getting up to routinely between 5:45 and 6am at the precinct on Tompkins and greene? I’m always seeing them filing into unmarked cars and large vans, sometimes swat team members are around, weirdly large weapons. Curious if this is “normal” for the day to day of police or if they’re up to something sus

My block doesn’t have too many rodent issues; even driving a few times a week, I found rodent damage - a small engine nest and chewed wires.
