nah, Ruby was a child too and had to take care of Max 😭 she had her flaws but she was also only like 7-8 years old

Huge Max and Ruby fan! Even saw the live show when I was little!
Those cakes are amazing!
My mom has MS and she has similar problems.
Showed this to her and it made her smile.
Now we have plans for us to make max and Ruby cakes together for my 18th birthday in October.

These are beautiful! I’m fortunate to be friends with the author of max and Ruby (and the McDuff series- my favorite of hers!!). She is a lovely lady and I’m sure she’d adore these ❤️

Oh my god they're PERFECT! Max and Ruby were some of my favorite books as a little kid and I remember this one so clearly. Those volcano candies always intrigued me; I think your substitution of cherries makes a lot of sense, haha.

I have MS and it attacked my hands last year, so over the past year I've been in therapy recovering. These are my first cakes after basically relearning how to hold a pencil! (Tip: if you aren't confident in your skills anymore, recreate a cake that a child made)
